Honestly CUROLOGY has terrible customer service. Their prompts are AI and you cannot speak to someone over the phone. Upon request, they can get you on board with a rep over txt chat and their prompts are pre-scripted similar to AI. I had ALOT of trouble postponing orders and you cannot cancel orders unless you chat with a rep. Big downfall as their website is not practical to maneuver and no customer access to make cancellations or changes. This has caused sooo much inconvenience. They send out orders without notifications and will NOT refund your money for any reason. I tried. Due to poor business principles, poor customer relations, poor communications and no money back guarantee, I have cancelled all my subscriptions.
Never received my product and my eithery credit card refunded my money.
Did not send me an email reminder about my next shipment until it had already shipped and they had charged me. They clearly did this on purpose since I had to keep pushing my order out further, since any other time I have always received an email
Can't speak to their products as I never got as far as even trying them. I decided to try them as I needed a 5% spironolactone cream for my hormone related comedone issues on my forehead after starting HRT, and didnt want to do oral version. So I started with their $5.45 trial offer just to find out the "custom" blends aren't really custom. My assigned provider offered me the cream, but only with clindamycin and azelic acid in it. Told her as my case is mild and doesn't include deep pimples or infection only excess sebum causing more white and blackheads, I would prefer the cream without the antibiotic. Also stated I already use an azelic acid so it was not necessary either. I was then told that the blend was my only option. So we decided I would need to get it elsewhere and cancelled my trial and subscription. All of this was done within 30 minutes. I then was told I needed to email their CS at Hello@curology. com to get a refund for my trial box, which I did, as asked; including all the requested info (name, address, phone number, and email connected to account. Ive now recieved 3 emails back stating that email is not connected to an account (really odd since I had already received 8 confirmation and message a emails from Curology about the order there) and asking for the exact same info again. Feel like I dodged a bullet here. Any company that refuses to refund a trial offer (literally $5.45) and instead makes it a whole unnecessary time consuming process ESPECIALLY when they couldn't even supply the cream I need is a huge red flag to me. Good luck if you actually try them out. Glad I used PayPal so I can dispute the charge if it comes down to that.
I'd rate my experience a -0 if possible! The customer service is horrible! I signed up for the $5 sample pack on January 15th, 2026. I received the it quickly on January 17th, that same day, I tried it out. Within a couple hours my face broke out with an extremely red itchy rash covering my entire face and down my neck. So that same night, the same day I received the package, I canceled immediately! I canceled to make sure i was never charged and sent a product that gave me such a horrible experience. I remember VIVIDLY canceling because it was extremely frustrating having to constantly be asked if I was sure I wanted to continue my cancellation, over and over. Fast forward to February 14th, I'm charged $94.88! This unauthorized charge put my account into the negative $67. Which left me and my kids with no money to make it until payday. To make it even worse, my bank then charges me an overdraft fee of $38! When I noticed the charges, I reached out immediately! The only way I could find to reach a customer service employee was through email which was extremely frustrating, especially given the urgent financial situation it left me in. I did hear back that same day and was EXTEMELY upset by the response. I was told unless I could "prove" that I canceled when I said I did, then basically I was out of luck. Then made it seem like they were doing me a favor or helping by making sure that my subscription was canceled this time. I'm a business owner and my email is primarily used for that, so I explained that there's no way for me to "prove" myself by providing a screen shot of their cancel confirmation email from over a month before. Any emails I receive that aren't documents or business related are deleted immediately otherwise I'd have an overwhelming amount of unorganized emails. Which would make it difficult to run my business. I explained this to them. I also expressed that I was very offended being asked to prove that I wasn't lying about canceling my subscription. I also requested a refund as soon as possible and also a prepaid return shipping label for the unwanted package I'd be receiving in the mail. I never heard anything back from them, so again on February 18th, I sent another email requesting the same. Then again on February 24th, without a single reply from Curology! I'm so incredibly disgusted with the lack of empathy they have for their customers, especially in a situation that's at NO fault of their customer! Not to mention after being told they can't issue a refund, I come onto TRUSTPILOT and see there a multiple people with very similar situations who have been given a "CURTESY REFUND"!! So it's absolutely possible to issue a refund, they just pick and choose who not to give them to. Now I understand you probably can't issue every refund request, especially for no reason. I have a very legitimate and serious reasoning. They just don't seem to care enough about the situation they put me in. I honestly should also be requesting an additional $38 reimbursement for the overdraft fee I got hit with because of the unauthorized charge they issued! I reached out again today via text, hoping someone higher up is able to assist me in a more professional and empathetic way!
The product worked okey. For what you pay for you don’t get nearly enough. This isn’t the reason for the 1 star review. I got one of the three orders I paid for. They said incomplete address so I changed my address. Still never got any of my orders. It’s nearly impossible to talk to an actual person and the robot was extremely unhelpful. I’ve been trying to get a refund for the orders I never received but still haven’t been able to talk to an actual person about it. It’s a scam and all the reviews and before and after pictures on their website are lies.
For the amount they charge it isn’t worth it!!! Especially if you have sensitive skin it made my skin 10 worse than what it was
