Useless delivery company

Useless delivery company - my order was missing multiple items and they only refunded 1/3 that was missing so now I’m out of pocket and not got what I ordered - can’t speak to a real person and if I could they definitely wouldn’t have a clue what to do or how to actually help.

Scammed me by sending smaller portion

They sent me the wrong portion size. I paid for the large one and sent me the regular one. When filing a complaint they said they “evaluated the evidence provided and account history” and decided I am not eligible for refund. That’s scamming.

Not only do they allow takeaway places…

Not only do they allow takeaway places to continue to sell cold food or even just about lukewarm there refunds are just as appalling as justeats and I think they should do better or just existing as a fastfood delivery company

my son dered a delivery from…

my son dered a delivery from deliveroo,when they came they gave him the food oder but not the alchohol,saying he had no id ,bearing in mind he is 46 years old,worst of all they did not refund the money for the alchohol he didnt recieve

Avoid / bad service

They closed my account for complaining too much also their options where you pay extra to have food delivered straight to you is a scam as many times i payed extra to have to come straight to me and riders were still delivering other orders customers are always right i have every right to complain and ask for my money back if youre service is not up to standards bunch of scammers u make people pay for youre own mistakes and luck of professionalism

Rip off Deliveroo

Delivered the wrong order and can’t collect and no refund discussting service worst company I have ever dealt with. Never again beware rip off company

Worst Deliveroo Service

This was the worst Deliveroo service we have experienced among the many times we have used Deliveroo. Upon 'delivery', the food had spilled all over deliverer Kieven's bag, all over the hallway of our building, all over our carpet, and he still wanted us to accept this inedible delivery. When we refused the delivery, he left the containers and what was left of the food outside in front of our building instead of taking them away like he should have. Terrible, rude service.

Very bad business model

Very bad business model. And now even if you pay for delivero plus gold you have to pay as much as 3.99 for delivery anyway. It was not like that before. And last time I asked for a refund for valid reasons it was not given. Totally worthless!!

Had my gold membership taken away

Had my gold membership taken away. No email, no message. I paid £79 and have not received any compensation. This is since the terms changed to remove cash back as well... not looking good for these guys. Time to move to uber eats.

The first and last time I order from…

The first and last time I order from them. I've literally just deleted my account and the app. I ordered from Pizza Hut. I saw when the delivery driver arrived from using the tracking feature on the app. I waited til he buzzed my apartment but instead he rang me. Shouting down the phone at me. Telling me he's been waiting "ages" and no ones answering the door. I told him I live in an apartment on the first floor so I wouldn't have heard him. He just said "oh" and didn't apologise for the way he just spoke to me which was very rude, aggressive and unprofessional so I just told him ill come down. I do but he still can't let this go. His ego is bruised and he can't take the stupid mistake he made. Now he's showing me how my address looks on his phone. I didn't create the app. I'm not responsible for it's formatting features. I inputted my address correctly into the fields provided. I don't why it showed my street name first and then my flat number second. He's obviously expecting an apology but him not using his brain or common sense is not my responsibility so I just shrug. He's not happy with my response as, it's not the one he was after so he persists. Now he's criticising my delivery instructions. He's telling me I hadn't put to buzz my apartment number. I'm thinking, well no, why would I state the obvious? You're a delivery driver, you should know what to do. I wouldn't expect you to drive to someone's house and then stand there at their front door expecting them to answer without you knocking on it or ringing their door bell, just because they haven't put that on their delivery instructions. That box is there to help drivers find your address which he did. Other delivery drivers fund my address just fine too. They either buzz or call me to say they've arrived and I go answer the door to them, like I did in this instance so what's the problem here? His male fragile ego just can't take the stupid error he made so he has to blame me? Another man who can't take responsibility for his actions so blames a woman? This story is getting really boring. Can't men do something else? I told him I ran out of characters so I couldn't add this to the end which is true but I also feel is completely unnecessary. So again he just says "oh". I think, it's not your place to start criticising and giving unsolicited opinions and advice. You're literally here just to deliver my pizza so do that and leave. But no, he tells me I have to remove the first line I'd written in my instructions so I'd have room to add the part of buzzing my apartment number at the end. I'm biting my tongue and trying hard not to lose my patience as I am on the very edge to giving him a piece of my mind but I'm also aware that I'm a single woman living on her own and he knows my address so I don't want to cause potential problems for myself down the line. So instead I just take the pizza box from him and tell him the code. I'm showing him and he's not paying attention as he's too busy staring at me so I have to show him again. All I want to do is get into my apartment. The buzzers for each flat number is on the right hand side of the door. You can't miss them. It's not my fault he has no common sense and chose to knock on a door that clearly belongs to a block of flats as the building has 14 apartments in total so no way does it look like someone's house. It's obviously apartments. I just wanna go back inside and close the door but instead of that, I'm forced to continue to stand there as he's in the doorway leering at me. I'm expecting him to depart. Do the usual of "have a nice evening" blah, blah, blah. But no, instead he just stands there, checking me out. I feel disgusted. Sick to my stomach that I'm now being subjected to this. He says "I've not seen you around, are you local", I'm shocked. I feel vulnerable and I don't want to tell him where I'm from. I'm also confused about him saying he hasn't seen me around. Why on earth would he? I don't want him to. So I lie and pretend I'm from somewhere I'm not. Again he just says "oh" and continues leering at me. I'm racking my brain trying to think how to get rid of him but just then his phone makes a noise and he says he has another delivery and that I'd brought him luck. I feel physically sick but relieved that he's leaving but before he goes, he says "see you around". I think, no you won't and immediately delete the app once I get back to my apartment. After a week I decide that I need to make a complaint about this driver as he needs to be held accountable for his inappropriate and unprofessional behaviour and I don't want other women having to go through the same experience as me. He needs to know his conduct was completely unacceptable. So I download the app again to make my complaint and I hear nothing. I've just chased it. It looks like no action has been taken. And they said they can't stop this driver coming to my address again as I requested.

Service is a sham

The delivery times shown are not honoured and when you reach out to support for resolution, they simply blame it on external factors. They also end up closing the chat if they can't really provide a resolution which isn't proper support - rather just closing out on your query as they don't want to handle It appears that it's all a sham and they're just there to eat up customers' money and not provide a good service

Absolutely terrible!!

Absolutely terrible!! We ordered 4 meals from KFC. Two orders were completely wrong and we had 5 items missing completely. After contacting deliveroo we were told they cannot help as they are not responsible for orders made through their app. Absolutely frustrating and highly disappointed. TERRIBLE.

Very poor delivery and service

Very poor delivery and service. Many items my items were delivered to the wrong adress. I made complain and my issue got solved eventually even if it was a pain having to do so. Now I had delivery worth £80 and about £50 was missing. I contacted support and they pretty much gave me a kick in the butt and told me to screw off. Never using this company again. Very poor. If you want to order and not even get the item, use delivero. If you want better service use any other delivery service. Never using this service again.
