If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a balm dotcom lip balm and it has now turned into oil. It is unusable. I emailed glossier directly and stated my concerns about their product and they told me to put it in the fridge and massage it. I have tried this multiple times and have had no luck with fixing my lip balm. After expressing to them that this did not work they told me that they can not help me further as I purchased the product at sephora. I sent my batch code to glossier as asked and still have had no help. I can't comprehend why I am being sent to sephora when sephora did not make the product, glossier did. This is not a sephora problem, this is a manufacturing/product defect. This making it feel like glossier does not stand behind their own product as they just kept trying to hand off the case to sephora. This is really dissapointing to me as I was a huge glossier fan but this customer service has not been very reassuring. I want to shop at a company that stands behind their products and aims to make things right. I should not have to feel like a ping pong ball being passed between two different companies with little to no resolutions. Either the product formula needs to be fixed or the customer service procedures need to improve because this was far from an easy experience. It is frustrating and exausting going back in forth with people that aren't willing to help. In the end I got offered a 15% off coupon to glossier to "re-purchase" the product. Unfortunately this is nothing to me as it will just barely cover the tax and most likely will not cover the shipping (no in-store glossier near me except for Sephora). In addition, why would I want to purchase another balm dotcalm lip balm with my hard earned money if I am unsure whether this will happen again. I am still unsure whether this is a one off bad batch occurance or if this is a common issue The glossier team never addressed this with me as they ended the conversation after I was offered a 15% off coupon. It is not like people have a lot of disposable income currently with the rise in costs. Please for future stand behind your products and make things right when there is a malfunction with your product because many people including myself will be less inclined to purchase glossier products if they are prone to becoming defective and the glossier team has no interest in fixing the problem or interest in customer satisfaction.

Can’t trust their reviews

Can’t trust their reviews. I have the Glossier You perfume which I love so when in needed new hand cream I decided to buy the You version from Glossier. It was absolutely vile, smelled nothing like the perfume, almost vomit like. I decided to leave a review on the website in case others ended up spending £20 on something that smells awful. Despite me verifying my review as soon as I got the email, my review never made it to their website. I know they publish negative ones but it makes me think they are not publishing all negative ones which skews the rating of the product. Very disappointed and won’t be buying from them again. Unfortunately I’m out £20 because I don’t want my hands to be greasy and smell of vomit.

Such a bad experience

Such a bad experience. While I’ve previously shopped online with no issues, this was so bad that I will not be shopping there again. I ordered a couple of items from the webshop and waited very patiently. After having waited for about a month(!), I had to spend time reaching out to the customer service team. They then sent a replacement package (that they had the nerve to call “complimentary”), that I then had to wait additional time for. And then, once a package finally arrived, an item was missing. They refused to send this item and instead gave me a $5 voucher – essentially an empty gesture, seeing as I would then have to spend more money on their site – not to add that shipping alone is more than twice that amount.
