Order never delivered – two contradicting stories – refused refund I ordered food through Just Eat (order 860120991). The food never arrived. When I called the restaurant, the staff admitted they left the food on the street. Just Eat then told me the food was returned to the restaurant – a completely different story. Despite clear evidence that the food was never delivered, Just Eat refused to issue a refund and called it their “final decision.” This is unacceptable. I paid for a service I never received and was given contradicting information by both the restaurant and Just Eat. Avoid using Just Eat if you expect accountability when things go wrong.
Ordered a few weeks back food arrived cold to the touch and well below acceptable temperature contacted just eat and was less than helpful
I had a serious food safety issue with an order from Just Eat. The chicken I received was clearly undercooked, and I provided photo evidence showing this. Despite this, Just Eat refused to issue a refund and sent the same template responses over and over, completely ignoring the proof I submitted. Food safety should be taken seriously, and undercooked chicken is not a minor issue. Instead of acknowledging the evidence, Just Eat closed the case and insisted they “couldn’t verify” the problem, even though the photos made it obvious. I’ve used Just Eat for years, but the way this was handled has really damaged my trust in the platform. When a customer provides clear proof of unsafe food, the response shouldn’t be a copy‑paste refusal. It should be investigated properly. Very disappointing experience, and I no longer feel confident ordering through Just Eat after this.
They sent the wrong item from Morrisons charging us 3x extra ... When asking for help they said they'd reviewed it and we weren't entitled to anything. Awful company ... Morrisons are impacting their reputation by using these cowboys ..
Absolutley rubbish service from Just eat. Part of my order missing and according to them that following their policies, that they can't discuss with me I don't meet the requirements for a refund for my missing items. Absolute scammers and a good way of becoming wealthy by just saying no to anyone who has a complaint. Absolutley crazy will definitely not be using just eat again. Just an addition I contacted the restaurant directly and they offered me a free meal which was nice of them. Just Eat you need to do so much better
Anti-consumer practices and combative support. When food is paid for and not received all any customer wants is fair compensation. They won't help, and they don't care. Their arrogance in replies is outstanding given there is nothing else a customer can do but ask for help and a refund for what is missing. JustEat think they are above the law.
I ordered from just eat this morning got the wrong order delivered I messaged just eat with photographic evidence of the wrong order with the wrong order number I even messaged the driver about he dropped off the wrong order and just eat are telling me that the right one was delivered I’ve even sent the the pictures and the receipt with my order number and what I ordered £25 pounds of order and I get a delivery that was not what I ordered they have scammed me out of my money
Absolutely disgusting they refuse to give you a refund on deliveries that are not delivered. I will never use this company again.
I placed an order on 16/05/26 worth £38 and the order never arrived. I have tried contacting JustEat multiple times to receive my full refund but the company simply say that they are not issuing compensation and that is their final decision. Has anyone had any success receiving the refund that they are due?
They make it impossible for anyone to make a complaint about there bad service ,missing item we will just refund them (No I dont want a refund for the one item I want a full refund ,I didnt order 1 item )Trading standards should be looking into these as they have no standards the same as coop , they say its just eats problem how they have not delivered the items purchased and that the item missing must be out of stock but they still charged me for the item as its on the receipt .FRAUD ! This is an easy way to check if a company is any goo as if they make it hard to complain then 99.9% of the time be crap company

Ild give a minus if I could. Everytime they have messed my order up or it has come cold. Everytime I’ve sent evidence of it being wrong they argue that they can not reimburse their customers. Customer service are just uneducated! Should be shut down.

I ordered some food from a local takeaway when it was delivered it was wrong and much cheaper than the food I’d paid for I had to contact just eat and did do so immediately sending photos of the food as evidence and I requested a replacement or refund explaining I would not eat what had been sent. they refused a refund but would not give me a reason as to why so I appealed this decision and asked for reasons as to why they refused. they replied saying they had looked at my complaint and upheld their earlier decision so no refund but again would give no reason as to why. if you bought goods from any store and content of packaging was a cheaper wrong version you would take it back to the shop and get a refund or replacement why does just eat not follow the same rules/legislation?and why do I have to take it up with this company instead of the takeaway? I am frustrated at their attitude and lack of customer service
