Constantly scamming me on my monthly electricity bills. When given irrefutable evidence that they are overcharging...the managers give the most illogical reasons why & gaslight.
I signed up for a plan, about $110 for fast NBN. They increase that to finally $140 ($139) over 13 months and did not let me opt out or make it easy for any decision. So checked there plans advertised on there website and there were no plans as expensive as mine! They were charging me more for a cheaper plan advertised on their website with the same specs! I checked the download speed which was essentially the same, slightly lower, no significant different though. I managed to submit a change of plans on their website. I will wait for outcome but not confident as clearly there intent and character is not trustworthy. Can't be bothered changing to new supplier yet.
The operators went out of their way to help, they kept me informed of the ways they were doing that.great communication throughout they explained clearly and thoroughly I was given sound advice that was the best outcome for what I wanted and resolved my issue quickly with great follow up

Firstly, the rates are very good, especially for EV plans, but I feel like the best part is how easy the website was to navigate. Everything was clear, simple, and actually made sense — which is rare these days. I also really appreciated not being bombarded with follow-up phone calls the second I entered my details. Big win. Whoever designed this website deserves a raise — honestly, they should’ve been the ones to design the Bureau of Meteorology website too. 10/10. Overall, switching was smooth, transparent, and stress-free. It’s one of those experiences where you think, “why isn’t everything this easy?” If the service matches the signup experience, they’ve absolutely nailed it.

Everything was very easy and straightforward. The online setup process was quick and clear, and I was able to arrange electricity and gas for my new home without any issues. I especially liked how simple the steps were and the clear communication throughout the process. It gave me confidence that everything will be ready on time for my move. Great experience so far, highly recommended.
I have had very poor internet download speeds for a few weeks and decided to contact AGL Tech support. I waited for about 20mins before someone eventually answered. The person was of the indian subcontinent and was a little dificult to understand but that was fine. The issue occurred when this person requested I open up a website speedtest.com and click on any of the buttons, not a specific one, anyone. At this point alrms went off and warning stating do not turn of your computer went through the speakers, so I immediately turned everything off and saved the computer which was important as i work from home. If I'm honest I do geta tinge of distrust when i hear that nationality on the phone and this is simply due to the abhorrent number of scam calls from the indian subcontinent. What I did not expect is the tech support from a company I am obtaining services through actually try to scam me. I checked the speedtest.com website and it stated this web site is very dodgy. I will be getting rid of AGL Internet and never dealing with them again. 2 days late - Contacted another 1300 number for complaints and ended up chatting with a tech bloke. he was great. Went through the whole process of testing systems, then he informed me the correct website for testing should have been 'speedtest.net' not .com. With this in mind and remembering that the original tech possibly got the incorrect website, as he did mention to click on the 'Go' button, which is only on the .net website. Issue resolved and other than the extended time to get onto a technician. happier with the service.
