I have had Prime for years and years. These days they screw up deliveries a lot. Delivery to the wrong place most of the time. Getting it fixed used to be simple. Now you have to argue with AI for days. It doesn't understand anything that it isn't expecting. No people. AI is not customer service, is a frustrating mess.
I called Amazon customer service to try and find out why I wasn't receiving a service I was paying for which was Amazon prime service. Supposedly, I'm supposed to be getting expedited services and overnight shipping on a lot of their items. However, I don't remember ever getting expedited services and I pay for it every month. When I called customer service they were very rude and they were asking me for information over the phone such as my social security number and my bank routing number just to verify that I had an Amazon prime account. I don't need them to verify that I have an Amazon prime account. All I need them to do is find out why I'm not getting the service I'm paying for.
Amazon tried to charge me more than the preorder price, twice. The first time they promised a refund which ever showed up. When it happened a second time they promised a $10 promo credit, which they never gave me. Instead, they attempted another unauthorized charge for the full amount. Customer service gives scripted apologies and then disappears.
I've been shopping with Amazon for about 4 years now and never had an issue with them. I ordered something from them and never recieved it. I told them and they refused my refund then come to find out they got my package back but still won't give me my money back for the item I didn't get
Been ordering from Amazon four years and I’m a prime member. This is the second time in one week that I have ordered items in a delivery date was promised, but the item was not delivered on that date. if you call Amazon customer service they apologize and then tell you the item will be delivered the following day. Why am I paying for Amazon prime if I don’t get the promise delivery date, their service has gone rapidly downhill

I never thought I'd give Amazon a poor review after all these years BUT changing the delivery address to another on my list of addresses is NOT acceptable. The packet was not delivered to my friend who moved years ago to a new address. Instead Amazon used an old address. M friend never receieved ath address and Amazon still sends me a delivery picture of the packet being WRONGLY DELIVERED AND I AM STILL CHARGED for the gift. I am disgusted. I will no longer use Amazon,ever. All this creepy AI stuff and the chaos that ensues. We all know what's going on and the USA slides down and down to a low position on the global circuit — so so low—morally, technically, and intellectually . Let us not pretend. We have much to be ashamed of.
I selected a 1500w electric saw in my basket for £19.95 but a glitch wouldn’t process it so it remained in the basket. 11 hours later I login to process the order and the price jumps to £46.59! A 234% increase on the same calendar day! Well, guess what Amazon - forget it! Dynamic pricing increases of this magnitude just because it’s in my basket don’t wash. I will absolutely not buy it from Amazon now - back to trusted suppliers like Screwfix or Toolstation with ready local back-up during the warranty period.
I haver finally reached my end with Amazon. I ordered something that tuned out to be a cheap knockoff and half the parts were missing so I left a review stating exactly that and they reported it and told me my review doesn't meet community standards. I did edit to be even more mellow and that was flagged too. Funny because there's nothing wrong with the reviews so that means they're selling garbage and literally protecting the bad sellers. It also means that all of the reviews can't be trusted like the one I bought that makes the product look good. I wonder how many people tried to warn me but wasn't allowed to. The reviews and comment section is one of the best ways to understand what you're buying and now they're gatekeeping our comments and experiences. My Prime membership won't be renewed and I will look to buy from other places because Amazon has gone way too far.
Most of the time great but suddenly instead of getting messages on my mobile I am getting Relay text messages on my landline. Fine you would think but this morning I got an imminent delivery message for an item delivered yesterday and this afternoon I am told another delivery is three stops away BUT it was delivered two hours previously. What the F is going on?

Amazon is making it harder and harder for you to cancel an order, even if not shipped and delayed for days. They are making it harder to reach an agent in chat as well. This is all by design. Beware of Amazon making these changes and not telling you.... Once in chat an agent can't even cancel such a delayed non-shipped item. They say they have to raise a ticket. So when you see something you need today or tomorrow - DO NOT RELY ON AMAZON ANYMORE.....
Amazon began as a good idea providing a unique buying & selling opportunity. I was a very active member for years. Amazon now is a corrupt profiteering monopoly. Incompetent, unreliable and dishonest. Unable to maintain purchase and returns accountability. Boycott Now!
What has happened to Amazon I purchased a item in February 2026 from marketplace the item did not arrive as expected I came some 2 weeks after date After contacting to get refund was offered gift card I accepted and was told if the original item turned up no need to post back which it did I did not give it a moment thought Low and behold 3 months later I am charged again on my card when I contacted them they say I was not told that it is inconceivable that I would just keep item to be charged twice even the manager JEN from market place hung up conversation and made out I was lying and told I would not receive my money back I only wanted one item ended up paying for 2 which I did not want I have saved conversation Amazon does not care I guess
