I subscribed to Artlist AI Toolkit on 16 May 2026 for €171.22. Within 2 days I exercised my statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under §355 BGB (German Consumer Law). I contacted Artlist via their live chat. Their AI agent acknowledged my withdrawal request, confirmed my account is registered in Germany, and stated the case would be escalated to a human agent. The chat was then closed without any human response. I then sent a formal written withdrawal notice by email to artlist.io, citing §355 BGB explicitly. I received an automated confirmation that my ticket was opened — and within hours, Artlist marked it as "resolved" without providing any response, refund, or acknowledgement of my legal withdrawal request. I have since filed a PayPal dispute with full documentation. The credit limits are also severely misleading — 11,000 credits per month sounds like a lot until you realize a single 5-second video costs 1,200 credits. That is fewer than 10 short clips per month for €171.22. This was not clearly communicated before purchase. I strongly advise other European consumers to be aware of their legal rights before subscribing.
fast response competent communication thank you Kyle M. and team!
Excellent support! Had an issue but was helped really quickly!
total fraund no money back, horrible experience, menacing dont use
Great customer service and excellent stock footage. Definitely needed for cinematic content!!
I’m a small time wannabe film maker. My rating is solely based on the fact that for the past 15 years I’ve had an idea for a short fantasy film that I never thought would ever see the light of day. I’m roughly a third into the virtual “shoot” using the A.I. Provided by artlist and I am absolutely overjoyed at how I’m able to finally realise my vision and it’s not costing me millions of dollars. A few things, it’s not perfect! There are many shots that were created that are on the cutting room floor due to Seedance not understanding the storyboard. Get ready for lots of trial and errors, or compromising on what you actually get. Also, a really big negative, your credits don’t roll from month to month, so you have to use your credits allocated in the month they’re given to you, which sux because some months you might be less creative than in others. Make sure if you do a yearly subscription that you use your credits up!
Amazing products, & brilliant customer service. Truely. Mitch has been super helpful!!
The software doesnt work many issues also on the phone no customer service
Lack customer support, unresponsive
Just had an issue where I accidently bought wrong subscription (yearly payment), but their support Alli took care of it asap. Got the correct subscription now within a very short time. Very happy with Artlist and their customer support!
They are the worst AI tool I have experienced, they mess you the conervion totally and the worst part when you tell them they do not refund, stay away from them they are a frauds and I would give them No start if I could
Schedule a meeting with them to go over their API. Jonathon was late to the meeting and then after that never came back to me with pricing very unprofessional company.
They make it seem like they are giving you a fair amount of credits, like thousands of credits, but it takes that many to complete one thing. Literally tried to create a video and used all my credits (3 video scenes less than 5 seconds) trying to get AI to get one simple thing right. Used a "months" worth of credits in less than a day. Then when I requested refund because I never actually achieved anything or got to finish my video, they said because I used the credits the answer was no.
Artlist is absolute garbage when it comes to customer service and refunds. I couldn't upload a simple Jpeg or Png without transparency issues warning. I tried every permutation known to man to solve the issue (removing the alpha channel, flattening the image, etc etc etc.)I used it for one day, then uploaded the image on Runway without any issues. I asked for a refund and they refused and then they challenged me as if I was stupid. The customer service is awful, insulting and the program has issues. I would not recommend this service to anyone.
Beware, thieves! literally sell you credits to create an image or two around 25€ then keep billing you when you stop using it even when you cancel your subscription I had to block them through the bank. Literally the worst A.I art service out there.
