We decided to return to Burford in order to be closer to our family. After viewing other retirement complexes in the area we decided on Cotswold Gate. The move from Wales was not without its problems but Beechcroft provided support throughout this time. Beechcroft also made our move considerably smoother by recommending a superb conveyancing solicitor, (Setfords), and a first class removal firm, (Barleycorn). Beechcroft Sales staff and particularly Sandy worked very hard behind the scenes to make sure we completed our sale and purchase most expeditiously. We are very pleased with our Beechcroft apartment at Cotswold Gate, it has proved a delight in terms of being on 1 level, everything you need is close at hand and the apartment is well built, very modern, environmentally friendly, comfortable, warm, well appointed and it has well maintained patios and gardens. We have saved over £600 per month by down sizing from a 4 bed house to our 2 bed apartment. Yes, we have had some ‘snagging issues’ but if you buy a new property that is inevitable. However, I have been very impressed with Beechcroft Customer Services and Cheryl in particular with her band of very skilled tradesmen that resolve issues reasonably quickly and when they do so they are incredibly clean and tidy but above all, cheerful. I no longer have to worry about resurfacing the drive, painting the gates, repairing and building fences, repointing patios, decorating the house, cleaning gutters, cutting the grass, weeding the garden and trimming the bushes/trees. Life is now bliss and something I have been looking forward to since October last year when we discovered the properties at Cotswold Gate. We now spend our time planning holidays, visiting places, going for walks, eating out, playing tennis and reading books whilst sitting on our delightful patio. It would be remiss of me not to mention Ian, our Estate Manager, who goes about his duties in a quiet and efficient manner and, when he is asked for help, nothing is too much trouble – if it is within his gift he will help. It is also comforting to know that when we are away from our apartment Ian will diligently check the security of our property on a daily basis. Compared with other retirement complexes the service charge is very reasonable and affordable. We are very happy with our move to Cotswold Gate and grateful to Beechcroft for providing such a quality product.
Every path was made smooth. Moving home is a traumatic experience - especially after more than 30 years in our previous home, but whenever things could be made simpler and easier for us, that is what happened. We are very, very grateful.
Overall we were impressed with Beechcroft.Found the help to move company frustrating and uncommunicative.This was helped by the Castle Gardens sales representative who could not have been more helpful liaising. Our move day frustrating but again helped by the sales rep and others.Excellent removal people. After care good .Lots of help offered after moving and fed through the endless paper work .
I have been very pleased with all the information and paperwork received since moving into my spacious apartment. The staff have been friendly, helpful and always ready to advise.
My parents have bought an incredible property from Beechcroft Developments in Pyrton. The property is simply amazing and the complex provides you with such a lot. They have thought of everything! The purchase process was helped no end by the professionalism, expertise and dedication of Elaine. Sadly, due to ill health, my parents needed my help with the process and the actual move which Elaine helped me with, every step of the way. Elaine goes above and beyond to support you, hold your hand and also drive what needs to be driven. When buying from Beechcroft, you get an exceptional property, support and guidance throughout and then ongoing help in the home eg, there is an on site person to assist with various aspects… I highly recommend this development and Elaine and her team.
