Their click-bait articles rarely contain the bait, but they do contain a very fishy (phishy?) Norton pop-up scan (scam?). Avoid at all costs.
Your a bunch of liars. Plain and simple.
bought phone advertised for U.S. use but cant find any current plans that that work with this hardware. Perhaps the problem is that the carriers have moved to using 5G sim cards and this phone requires a 4G sim card.
Purchased an item and tried to redeem credits during the checkout. Showed the redemption in the cart and when I clicked to purchase, it suddenly disappeared and charged full price. Customer service only offered more credits and then stopped responding to emails without resolving anything.
Unable to return defective product. Purchased a knife through boingboing, closing mechanism was defective, unable to return on the 15th day because the 14 day return window had lapsed. Do not purchase products through their site.
They have some of the better gift seats I have tried. Lots of options.
I'm not very happy with the company's service
I stumbled upon these free ebooks at boingboing.net and found out that they were just looking for a donation. I thought that this was a great idea, but quickly found out that it was a hassle and seems more scam-ish. I donated what I thought was fair for the ebook. It was a quick and easy transaction, and I thought that I would be emailed my ebook. But I found out that this was just the first step of many to get the ebook. After they had my money, they required that I give them lots of personal information to actually get access to the ebook. It felt like a scam, and it felt like my personal details were then going to be used for telemarketing purposes. I contacted the company and let them know that I would just like a refund. But they informed me that my donation was not refundable, because I clicked on some link within the email. I clicked on the link assuming it was the ebook, but instead it was a link to give much more "required" information and to "purchase" the ebook from their site, using a code to get it for free. At this point, I just wanted my money back, and felt like it was not legitimate. I would not recommend this site until their practices are more transparent and easier to get refunds. It was obvious that I didn't get the ebook, and it was, afterall, a donation for a free ebook. I would have expected a simple refund. I will definitely not use there site in the future.
It's actually their policy (literally) to STEAL their customers' money by refusing to give them the product they PAID for, *and* refusing to give them a refund if they don't "redeem" their purchase within 30 days. Conveniently, their purchase confirmation email does not mention this whatsoever. Buried in their FAQ: "All license codes and redemption links will expire after 30 days. We apologize that there is not more we can do to help." Riiiiight, I'm sure you're sooooo effin sorry about that. Well I hope you will actually be very sorry when your karma catches up with you and you get hit with a giant class action suit, you classless fkng THIEVES.
