Buyee refuses to send parcels to Israel under the pretext of the Gulf War, despite the undeniable fact that FedEx and DHL officially state that the service is working, with minor delays.
I had purchased a Gucci bag from a seller. This item, when I received it, was damaged & broken. I asked Buyee to investigate & I wanted a refund. They were not able to offer me anything! I also advised I wanted to file a claim via Paypal, they advised it would jeopardise my ability to purchase on Buyee again. Buyee is all about the seller & not about the buyer. Be careful & check every listing thoroughly.

Used Buyee for first time to buy vintage item from Japan. Really happy with the service. Platform is not the most straightforward to use but whole process and pricing is very transparent and product arrived quickly once they place the order (it did take them 2 days to place the order so there is a little bit of delay if you are trying to buy one of a kind item that might sold out in the meantime). Overall really happy with the service and I will definitely use again and again!
Buyee is the dependable but untrustworthy corporate giant. It's slow, clunky and it works. However, Buyee's policy is to be predictable and screw you over currency exchange. Sometimes, they would take the price in yen, convert it to USD, to my local currency and then back to yen, then convert back to my local currency and press that to my card... which results in higher than usual conversion fees. Higher than if I was just charged yen directly. They're slow to make any changes but their process is rigid and reliable if there was no hiccups.
If you buying large items such as wheels or others, forget about it with buyee. there were these EXTREMELY rare wheels that its pattern and size is ultra rare also was a steal for $399 on mercari.jp those wheels that other sellers sells it over $1000 up to $2000 regardless on wheel specs. there were no purchase option. only a request option was available. the next 24hours i got a message stating if i am sure i want to buy it because of its weight and shipping maybe expensive. Ummmm DUH! i am aware of that and that's why i to buy it NOW, the next day is the sad day, someone else bought it quickly, F!%$! I panicked, i messaged buyee about it if they bought the item. i think about a day or two buyee rep message me stating ok we will buy it now. i was like ok i got the wheels! i was stoked! i been checking everyday again after that to see a status if the wheel arrived at the warehouse. the order status haven't been updated for 3 days and i was being a bit sketchy. today on the 3rd day the status changed stating we are sorry item was sold out while trying to purchase the item. i was like oh hell no, I'm super pissed. you guys are too slow in buying items. i think i may consider finding other mail forwarder that does a fast process in purchasing large items.
The UI is absolute dog shit and confusing to navigate and i cannot find the pages I'm looking for there is no search bar for the menus and the site is so God damn slow even with good internet
