Trying to get hold of Debenhams is a joke. Have to answer all the same questions from an ai bot, text briefly with an actual person ( I think 🤷♀️) finally got a qr code for a return and 3weeks later I’m still waiting for a refund. I ordered a bottle of fake tan- when it arrived it had obviously been used as there was product all over the bottle. Not good service
If I could give zero stars I absolutely would This has been the worst online shopping experience I have ever had, an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I placed an order but the items never turned up at all. Now I am left completely out of pocket, and trying to resolve it is impossible. Their customer service is shocking, everything is only done online or via messaging, there is no one you can actually speak to, and nobody ever gets back to you. You just get fobbed off, sent generic replies, or told someone will be in touch… and then you hear nothing. It feels like they just take your money and wash their hands of you completely. It has caused so much unnecessary stress and I am still no closer to getting my goods or my money back. Save yourself the hassle, the money, and the frustration!!! NEVER ORDER FROM THEM !!! You have been warned.
This is an excellent store well stocked with clothes and beauty products. I have always been delighted with everything I've bought here and have never had the need to return a product. Very competitive prices as well!
This company can improve by having better systems in place for their customers to communicate with when things go wrong. I am still waiting for issues to be resolved since Christmas 2025. Debenhams appears to only be interested in sales not customer satisfaction. Please bring back the customer services of the past....

Two months and still no delivery... I purchased a three piece wardrobe set to have it delivered to my work. The delivery place then wanted to deliver it on the weekend, even though delivery said before Sunday. However, it was fine as we are a 7 day business. Delivery comes and only two items. I have messaged and messaged Debenhams, they take a week to respond and then just say they are chatting to the supplier, wait two days, then I wait two days and they repeat the same answer. I then chase again and they send me a POD for two deliveries and say could it have been misplaced, even though I purchased three items.... So this is obvious proof they just didn't send the whole thing. My son has now been without a wardrobe for two months, I can't afford to purchase another one until I get my money back. This company is an absolute bunch of scammers, who I currently in the process of launching a small claims and speaking with the press. Do not buy here, horrible place.
The items looked just as good as in the photographs, and arrived early. Thank you very much.
