Perfect customer service
The product is good value. Although it’s had some minor shipping hanger rash, I would rate it as a great bang for the buck deal.
Ordering parts they sent better parts to what I ordered and an extra part that I wasn't expecting was very pleased
They were willing to replace the broken items in a timely manner.
I am a very experienced R.C. pilot and these are my thoughts on the Dynam FW190. Dynam has made great strides in building a better product. There are still improvements to be made though. Don't buy a Dynam plane expecting to just put in a few screws and go fly. A little more work is required with Dynam. Personally, I like this as it allows for easier customization. The canopy came disassembled so that I could add a different pilot and do some custom paint inside the cockpit. The stickers have to be applied but it makes it easy to change the livery, if you choose. I was surprised at how great the quality was on the paint job. A huge difference from past models. Very nice paint, semi glossy and very realistic looking. Very well applied. Nice finish to the foam, you can hardly tell it is foam! I have to compliment the landing gear servos. They are slow and very scale! Much better than the old Dynam landing gear that never worked when the temperature was below 50 deg. F. Ok now the bad. The landing gear is a mess. My wheels were toed out about 15 deg. on both sides. It would be very difficult to take off and land this way. I had to disassemble and grind the flats on the top of the gear struts to rotate them inward. This is not good. Now the gear doors don't line up with the bottom of the wing. I'm still figuring that out. The gear struts are too thin and very flexible. I also don't like the fact there is no plastic pocket on the bottom of the wing, only on the top to keep the landing gear actuator from ripping out on a hard landing. This will be a problem for less experienced pilots. I also tested the c.g. and discovered that even with a relatively heavy 4S 65c 4000mah battery that the plane is extremely tail heavy. It will require much added weight in the nose to balance. I am probably going to install a honking big motor to compensate. This should not be the case. If you recommend a battery the plane should fly with that. So now you have a relatively inexpensive plane that would be a good value for a new pilot but problems that will make it troublesome for less experienced pilots as well. To be fair I have not flown it yet, but I have no doubt that it will fly well. Plenty of videos attest to that. So looks great, gear sucks, be prepared to do some work to get it right.
