Ebay has so much to change. The customer service is extremely poor and outdated. There is no contact email or phone number to reach out. I got scammed by a seller but Ebay did not take any actions despite I filed the report in advance. I also tried to reach out to customer service, but there was a significant barrier from the bot. When I bypassed the bot after a month to talk to an agent, I was told that it was already too late to resolve. Terrible.
eBay supported a scam artist that used falsified tracking to "prove" delivery and despite claiming they would escalate the issue and help me get my money they kept putting me on the carousel of gaslighting me by making unproven claims about "proof" of delivery. UPS and I already figured out that the tracking belonged to a different pair of buyers and sellers with an origin and destination that didn't match me or the seller. I'm supposed to believe a package from Brazil to the USA took only 3 days including customs? No out for delivery notice because seller provided tracking a week after claiming it arrived. I'm still out the money from this fraud and eBay is staffed by imbeciles with zero critical thinking skill or investigative action.
I bought a dancing cactus from an eBay seller called "telitetech," who claimed it would sing and repeat what you say. After putting in new batteries it didn’t record anything—just danced and played normal songs. I tried resetting it and removing the batteries, but nothing worked. The item wasn’t damaged, but it arrived in just a bag with no protective packaging, showing very poor packing skills. I strongly suggest avoiding this unprofessional seller, who either sent a faulty item or swapped it for a non-recording cactus. It’s pure false advertising.

This platform is rotten, zero help for sellers. Restricted my account after my first sale and won't pay out for 190 days from now. No one to speak with, no help from customer support.
Ordered a Golf Buggy from maxbuyitnow on 27 April 2026 and promised delivery by 5 May 2026, despite of many reminders the supplier has failed to deliver the item. Ebay Australia does not safeguard the buyer and the buyers cannot report on bogus sellers. Cannot find a refund option with eBay
Ebay is not trustworthy , they use a parcel company Gofo who don't deliver thier packages correctly. The parcel was not delivered to the correct location and was left in an unsafe area, which resulted in the package being stolen. In addition, I was provided with incorrect delivery information from Ebay and Gofo .
I rang eBay twice as my account was permanently suspended even though I haven’t done anything that goes against the community guide lines. I logged in after a year and I receive an email saying I’m restricted so when I asked the reasoning they refused to tell me what I have done wrong and rudely cut the call off mid way me speaking absolutely atrocious. Not happy wiv the customer service I had
"Japanese Wide-leg Pants Men Extra Baggy Cotton Linen Meditation Trousers" or have other variation are FAKE from seller. They appear on Temu and Aliexpress and others. DON'T BUY.
Ebay charges are crazy. By the time everything sold i lost half of my money. I was a new lister and didn't understand alot of the charges at first. Once the items sold I was oissed on all the charges. Sell on whatnot. Stay away from ebay. Terrible experience
Would go lower if I could, exorbitant fees and restrictive with offers. Ebay is the worst selling platform available. There are tons of other options.
I bought and item and seller put incorrect address on the package but correct zip code it was delivered to an address that wasn't mine, seller and ebay both say it was delivered to me and refuse to correct the situation they closed the case and ebay and seller stopped communicating, negative stars is what is deserving now, ebay has gone downhill.
