They hang up on me, because I asked the question. So rude and unprofessional.
I had gone in early for an appointment earlier then expected, I called ahead spoke to a female on the phone was very helpful and communicated with me she would attempt to help me out depending on her scheduled appointments I was ok to wait, I check in a older male attends to me asking for my name, first off I thought he was very RUDE to me regarding my arrival and I over hear him rudely explaining to the female that attended me after explaining to her the same way he explained it to me If that's the office manager I feel terrible how the females have to deal with that in a female industry clinical setting all though both females at the front were very helpful sorry Ive forgotten there names Thank you for making the appointment easy and a successful blood draw after I explained to her I'm a difficult draw she got me on the first try thank you for making me comfortable, I complaint to both females about that man I doubt they said anything to anyone so here I am posting it for someone to actually listen somewhere
PARAMEDICAL EXAMINERS... (P.E.) BEWARE! I have over 25 years experience as a mobile nurse sub-contracting with nearly every paramedical company in the nation and must say Examone has, by far, been the most unorganized, undependable, and mal-managed one yet. They either overbooked me or scheduled my patients so close together it was impossible to stay on track; they'd promise me a "full day" if I'd drive 50-100 miles out of my way to see remote clients yet only actually book 2-3 people and would not reimburse for fuel. What really concerned me the most, however, is their complete indifference for the actual patients time, comfort, or ability to get insured in a timely manner. Voicing my concerns to management was a moot point as the branch manager picked and chose what emails to answer and address and never addresses my issues. It seems to me that Examone is constantly running ads on Indeed, Linkedin, etc. at the same locations for mobile phlebotomist and this is no doubt because they treat their PEs like disposable crap thus their turnover rate is extremely high. Again, "disposable" because it seems there's always more people to see and its not like the poor agents have any say in it as Examone has an exclusive contract with most major insurance companies making it impossible for the agent to seek out better paramedical companies. In essence, they're forced to use Examone and their overbooked, overworked, underpaid, and totally unappreciated transient phlebotomists.
Had 2 appointments with ExamOne in August 2023. Less than an hour before my first appointment, I received a phone call letting me know it had to be rescheduled, as there was an emergency and the person drawing couldn’t make it. Ok, I understand life happens. Appointment was rescheduled and lo and behold, another emergency with the same gal scheduled to draw me, and they can’t make it. Due to time constraints on my part, I had to go elsewhere for my blood draw, which involved an hours drive. Minor inconvenience, but it’s what I had to do. I was due for another blood draw in February. On 1/29/24 an appointment was scheduled for 4/1/24, as I am limited on my time availability due to my work, and I was going to be off the first week of April. I explained this when I scheduled my appointment. On March 13th, I received a text from the gal doing my draw, stating there was a scheduling conflict and could it be done on 3/22/24? I responded no, that was not going to work with my schedule, that I specifically scheduled it for 4/1/24 as I would be off work. I received zero response, and had to then call the week before, and see if I was still scheduled, and I was. But in my mind, I’m thinking I’m going to get canceled. In the morning of my scheduled draw 4/1/24 and less than 30 minutes before my appointment, I received a text that there was yet again, an emergency. Go figure! I will NEVER use or recommend ExamOne to anyone. They are unreliable and not dependable.
Margaret Owden. This lady deserve more than 5 stars. She is someone I would want on my team if I had one. Professionalism on point, her personality alone tells you that she cares.
Waste of time and money! I’ve been sick; my doctor ordered a blood draw. I couldn’t leave my house so I waited TWO WEEKS for a draw. The night before, 10 minutes before closing (and of course after they stopped answering their phone), they canceled because they were “double-booked.” So I called the main exam one number. A rude woman named Rosetta told me I couldn’t have a refund because I was canceling within 24 hours of the appointment. Say what, now? She was too preoccupied with covering her own rear than helping me. AVOID THIS COMPANY! They are dreadful.
Had a very bad experience with them. The nurse was pleasant but missed a bunch of documents. This cause a huge delay and frustration in my insurance process. I eventually had to just drop out and started over another application again. The insurance company was not very competent, examone just made it even worse.
They are bad at what they do. Especially rx history retrieval . They send false and un verified info. I wouldn't be surprised if they get into civil law suit. Imagine having all your medical records sent out to strangers because they fail to verify basic information.
