Full of corrupt staff and liers. One of the most unprofessional and corrupt claim and finance teams. Their roads are breaking the people cars and emptying the pockets but they are corrupt they will not listen.
Having dealt with Glasgow City Council for several decades it still amazes me why they don't make it easier for people to work with them and to pay their council tax bills. It is almost as if they are trying to trip people up so that they deliberately end up making late payments or not knowing how much to pay. Now I am sure, or at least I would like to think that there are some good people left working at Glasgow City Council, but the systems employed by GCC, which must be decided by someone, are detrimental to everyone ..and not least GCC itself. If one schedule payment or direct debit is missed, rather than issuing a bill for that payment, GCC cancels a direct debit completely. Where is the sense in this? You might also think the poorness of Glasgow City Council's communication skills cannot be out-done, but that is only until you come across Scott and Co, who will serve you sms messages from a 'no-reply' number and then put you into an endless call queue to speak to them. Do they want the payment made with a minimum of fuss, or a maximum cost to everyone, mainly themselves ?
Congratulations to Glasgow City Council for turning Union Street and the surrounding area and Sauchiehall Street back 100 years are making it a modern day slum. Maybe the councillors cannot see the area from their £500,000 homes in the suburbs but they are discouraging tourism and anyone with half a brain from going into the city centre. Open drug dealing and drug use is now the norm, beggars every 20 yards and the mandatory delivery riders on electric bikes doing 25 mph on pavements. Do your self and your family a big favour,do not go to Glasgow.
Used the fast track passport application 7 renewal - very quick efficient and friendly, well organised meeting and got passport in my hand with 4 days of meeting -
I went into Blacks in Glasgow to buy a tent. The staff were great. Especially Molly and Rachel who I ended up speaking to for about 30 mins. I went back into to exchange it for another tent and Molly couldn’t be more helpful. Great shop and great staff..
Jenifer in cova glasgow was the most helpful and friendly barmaid you could ask for could not of asked for a nicer experience
Quote taken from Sky news Article -"However, the local authority said the fine was issued and appeal refused due to the traffic warden observing no activity around the vehicle "over a reasonable length of time" Disgusting! Taking money from the poor at a time they need it the most. Fining a food charity for using the same space they have used for 3 years and refusing their appeal is shameful, greedy and embarrassing! They had lack of volunteers so it took them longer to load up the van than usual! What type of person stands there and waits out a Food bank Charity van. No hearts, No souls! Avoid quayside unless you love to be spat at.and that's not form the locals of Glasgow either.very racists were we stayed at didn't feel comfortable being in my own country after visiting Glasgow
The waitress got angry with me for asking politely if my sandwich order may have been forgotten at lunchtime after I had waited 40 minutes. Some of the staff at the main desk were just not vey friendly and welcoming and seemed frustrated when questions were asked for advice. I just felt that some of the staff there - apart from the cleaning staff were resentful there were customers in the building. There was a massive queue for breakfast every morning unless you got down to the restaurant by 8. The dining waiters in the evening were excellent however, and food was good when it arrived. I did wonder if some of the staff might be better off seeking employment somewhere where they don't have talk to customers and deal with complaints.
Council tax raised 5% for reduced services to as they say to protect jobs and no redundancies in departments which are over manned anyway and because of the councils0wn policy they cant cut back although they woul love to. Roads are dangerous and destroy motorcycles and cars, pensioners losing their footing due to potholes. Streets are rat infested and absolutely filthy. Need a change of Party, and I am a SNP Member, That's how bad this is.
