Do not be fooled by the high ratings here. Hikewander (Brutano Limited) is a classic Subscription Trap. I requested a full cancellation and refund for unauthorized charges, and the company responded with a blatant bribe scheme. Their "Escalation Team" (Elsa) claimed my refund was approved but is essentially keeping my money held hostage—they explicitly stated they will only process the compensation after I post a 4 or 5-star review. This is a clear attempt to manipulate their TrustScore and a direct violation of Trustpilot’s guidelines. Furthermore, instead of canceling my account as requested, they secretly switched me to a "Starter Mini Membership" for €8.74 just to keep a "legal" foot in the door to my bank account. This is fraudulent behavior. I have already reported this merchant to my bank and local authorities. I will update this review ONLY if a full refund is actually received in my bank account. Until then, consider this a high-risk scam. Avoid at all costs!
