Absolutely the worst experience I have experienced! Feedback non existent, support non existent, no proper contact availability, online tutoring extremely poor, live online learning availability limited. I absolutely can’t recommend this company

I enrolled with ICS Learn for the CIPD Level 7 programme and my experience has been extremely disappointing. Early in my enrolment, ICS Learn acknowledged issues relating to assessment brief clarity which materially affected my studies. I was later offered a course extension as a remedy, which in itself confirms there was a recognised issue. However, despite this, I still experienced significant disruption to my academic progress and confidence in the programme. In my view there is a serious mismatch between the service promised and the experience actually delivered. I raised multiple concerns formally, including: * unclear assessment guidance; * concerns regarding feedback quality and consistency; * delays and poor complaint handling; * the impact these issues had on my ability to progress effectively. What I found most frustrating was the handling of the complaint itself. Responses repeatedly relied on generic statements rather than meaningfully addressing the substance of the concerns raised. Despite acknowledging earlier issues, ICS Learn ultimately maintained that the course had been delivered appropriately and continued to pursue the remaining balance in full. I would strongly encourage prospective students to carefully consider the provider. Once enrolled it appears extremely difficult to obtain any meaningful redress even where service concerns are acknowledged. For me, the combination of academic disruption, lack of confidence in the process, and the handling of the complaint (6 weeks and only three responses to my emails each taking over a week to receive) has left me deeply dissatisfied with the overall experience.
I contacted ICS Learn over a week ago to ask for information about Level 3 and Level 5 courses, but I still have not received any response. I followed up several times by email, yet there was no reply, no update, and no automatic message to explain any delay. It seems the person handling customer service may have been on leave, but there was no handover or anyone else dealing with the enquiry. This was disappointing because clear communication is important, especially when someone is trying to choose the right course. Even a simple auto-reply or update would have helped. ICS Learn really needs to improve how they manage enquiries when staff are unavailable.
I had a great experience enrolling with the help of Maggie. She responded quickly with detailed instructions and made the whole process easy. I’m hoping the feedback for assignments will be just as efficient, especially after my experience with another provider where feedback took far too long. Ciaran was extremely helpful an friendly and was true to his word in follow ups aswell when I was deciding. Ciaran had also sent me an after care email which was much appreciated, as online learning is a whole new world for me and I am a nervous about studying again also.
