I would recommend anyone that's looking at renting a property to completely avoid Jenkins at all costs. We rented a property which was completely botched from start to finish. The company employees lack knowledge of what is required to legally rent a property - we asked for a gas safety certificate for a log fire and were told they didn't realise we needed one, luckily we requested one because it came back not fit for use (but was used as a selling point.) We had constant issues with the house, from an internal door used as the front door to mould in the bathroom. We finally had to get the council involved when I fell pregnant, due to the state of the house potentially causing harm to myself and baby, otherwise repairs would've just been left. The staff turn over is extremely high, from people being fired, 'running away' and leaving, so we constantly had to deal with different people, having to explain over again our position. One of the employees even suggested that we shouldn't have signed a new contract for another year if we weren't happy - so we should cover the costs of moving because the landlord and themselves are unable to complete basic maintenance to a property they represent/own?! We have dealt with some awful estate agents in our time, but this company by far is the worst by a long stretch.
We were selling our property and had a particularly difficult transfer. Although it wasn't to Jenkins' benefit at all, they gave us great advice and managed everything perfectly. Since Nikki and Bradley took over we've been really pleased with how promptly they have handled any issues and they've been really easy to liaise with.

If you need to sell a house this is the best company around. They are professional give you realistic valuation keep you full informed. We experienced a nationwide estate agent who had the property on sale for 8 months with very little interest. We put it to Jenkins they did there stuff on the marketing and with their proactive marketing the property was sold within a month at a higher price than the nationwide agent. Please if your looking to sell these are the people.to use .
Most disgusting vile service I have ever used. Thieves!. All happy to take your money but will use any trick in the book to take every penny of your deposit. Currently contacting their useless DPS service. No replies or contact. Just hope you will walk away so they can keep your money. Stay away from these vile people. DPS. Citizens advice and local MP letters sent. DISCUSTING!
Well, what can I say. A cold dark night, M25 blocked as usual around Junction 29/30, with me having driven across to South Ockendon from West London. Nikki was running late; was the property worth all this hassle? How wrong could I be? The property was amazing, quirky, solitary, and perfect, this was just the start of the journey though. Nikki being very personable, professional, and available at any time, moved things forward with expertise, keeping me informed at every turn. She was always good to talk to discuss and provide eventual positive outcomes even when problems arose. Delay after delay occurred for one reason or another until there was light at the end of the tunnel, where she said she would move Heaven and Earth to ensure I was “in” by the start of December. It is difficult to express the thanks and gratitude I have for Nikki, as much as this review puts her in a positive light, it only scratches the surface of the gratitude I have for all the hard work she put into me getting the property and moving in. What I can say is that, unlike other estate agents who just require numbers or a bottom line, Jenkins Property and especially Nikki are invested in their clients. Thank you, Nikki.
