Happy with my refund After a issue that happened with my item out of stock various emails going to them and nothing coming back to me. I ordered a different item and left a note. so don't know if they was super busy and didn't have a lot of time to answer me back which is understanding.
I contacted them about the head coming loose on 30/01/24 about a problem with a doll now I can't get through to them. Don't buy off these there warranty is none existant I'm very disappointed with them. Here is an update 07/03/2024 after nomarious complaints to them & getting nowhere I asked for a full refund which thay have refused which is a breach of the Consumer rights act & as it broke before the 30 days I have the right to the full refund so now I'm having to take them to court to retrieve my money. Be warned don't use this company. I have another update 22/03/2024 I've just had a threatening email from them wow I wasn't expecting that still no refund very poor service must be run by crowns.
The doll was not as advertised,the body was correct but the head was not the right model and was a completely different colour - I seriously could not believe what I was seeing it cost £950 and was not checked before dispatch from UK this is rediculous.I contacted them and was fobbed off,they said the head was correct and sent pictures of a high end head with open mouth huge lips and teeth that had nothing to do with the sugarbabes range.I had sent them a picture of the head on the body and they know very well that they have ripped me off - no further replies after I sent a plethora of email about the subject - I'm still waiting for the mistake to be resolved or at least a part refund of £235 so I can buy a matching head for the body.The two stars are for the company's fast shipment of the item only,when and if lucidtoys correct their error -I will write a better review for the sugarbabe model and company on completion.
Received a doll with a torn vagina and the anus had string like material attached to both sides of the cavity, almost like a cheese cutter, thankfully I didn’t use the anus because I would be without a penis now. Although I kinda assumed I should have checked it thoroughly before using it, I skipped that and just assumed their quality control would have picked up on the main things such as a torn vagina and a dangerous anus. Oh how wrong I was. They are far more worried about taking pictures of the fingers and face than the vagina and anus openings That’s meant it’s been difficult to come to a fair outcome in this situation. 30% reduction was the second offer and i didn’t feel like that was acceptable. The anus and vagina are what the doll was purchased for. The damage will shorten the life and effecting visual stimulation considerably. After a back and forward conversation in which I provided countless pictures upon their request they have gone silent. The last reply from them was the 16th of August and it’s now the 15 of September. Because of the silent treatment I had no choice and about 10 days ago I took advice and served them a letter to say I want a full refund and have gave them 14 days to reply. As of yet still no reply. I feel they are trying their luck by ignoring me even after beginning the process of negotiation. Left a review on their website but strangely enough they haven’t posted that and are just putting positive reviews up. I would have been very happy with the doll had it of been in good condition as it’s surprising good. They sent me pictures that their quality control took and said there is no damage visible but the area of damage is impossible to see due to what is inserted in the vagina when the pictures were taken and the anus is not visible because the doll is laying on its back in the box. Great quality control lucid toys. You fail to take pictures of what is most important. I assume that’s not a mistake. I have asked for there pictures of the damaged area but again no reply. I told them I was happy to forgive them for the detached eye lash as I understand they are delicate and could easily fall off in transit but I see they count on them photos a lot as I have seen some of the other reviews here now. But I’m yet to receive pictures of the vagina and anus before it was sent out and considering that was my complaint it shows they don’t have them and any they provide now will just be recreated after the fact. I did look online at reviews before making a purchase but unfortunately it would seem the places I looked are cherry picked by lucidtoys. So it’s not a fair representation. I also paid extra for a Saturday delivery but it turned up early on a Tuesday. Just by chance I was home from work that day and no one else was home, could have been pretty uncomfortable. Delivery guy also asked what’s in the box? Pretty uncomfortable but I accept that’s hard for lucid toys to take responsibility for but still not quite as discreet as hoped for. I asked for a £500 reduction in price as they were really struggling to come up with a fair offer. So much time invested into dozens of emails and constantly being asked for more and more photos, I took pictures in every possible way while trying to open the anus as asked for and yet they wanted more so I took more, it’s almost like it was being past to a different employee every time and each one wanted pictures. Very odd. One employee said I can just cut out the string like material and I said I want to be sure that if I do that I won’t be held responsible for any damage as it seemed a strange solution to the problem but I did it and although usable now it is not attractive to look at. I was being very patient and gave them every opportunity to fix the problem but it seem the silent treatment is what they have decided to implement. Not very professional in my opinion. They thanked me many times for the manner in which I was emailing them and for providing more and more photos. Not once did I email in an aggressive manner, I just wanted a solution and gave them every opportunity to provide one. UPDATED After 14 days of waiting they never responded so i sent another email and gave them 24 hours to get in contact and provide a solution, They did respond within that 24 hours and after them getting very aggressive on the phone and me not accepting their nonsense offers, they agreed to send me a replacement body. Although it was not identical to the one I paid for they would not compensate me for that. the last time they contacted me was them threatening me with court action on the basis of me saying, either you reduce the price and I will feel somewhat happy with the outcome so will not need to warn others about you, or if not I will update it because clearly they can’t be trusted when it comes to dealing with faulty goods. But lucid already had my review deleted. So I have sent this
Was nervous to order my first item after considering it for a few years. Found Lucid had a great catalouge, great prices and based in the UK, ticked all the right boxes. Placed my order and requested they not dispatch until a certain day which they were more than happy to do. Item came well packaged and comes with a great bundle of accessories. Recently bought my first doll, very impressed with the customer service and quality of the product, as it was my first purchase I was a little sceptical whether it would actually look like the images online, However the customer service team were very fast and helpful showing me images, and the doll arrived undamaged and better than I thought it would be within a couple of days. So I took an entire day searching on the web for the best re-sellers or shops in the EU for realistic dolls and was quite scared to be honest. There's quite a lot of sites where it's even suspicious at login, etc., so I was doubting everything. Found Neodoll in the UK and I rolled the dice. The reviews are just a bit above average but my experience has been very pleasant. I'm rating it 4/5 only because they unfortunately forgot the heating rod, although I'm not quite sure it was even intended to be included. Otherwise 5/5. Nothing to worry, I'm ordering one on Amazon as we speak. I placed the order on Sunday evening, on Monday after-noon it was already dispatched. Went through a couple of countries on the way but it ended up coming to me in Italy on Friday 1 PM (13:00). Support was helpful and responsive. Import was smooth and the box was intact. The doll inside was packed and brand new as advertised. Super happy when I was unboxing it, cleaning it and preparing everything. The experience (even without the heating rod) was incredible. Absolutely incredible. If you're on the fence of getting one of this - GO FOR IT! It's complete freedom and attachment that's 100% pure and united. Quality of TPE, appearance, etc. - 10/10. What can I say totally 100% thrilled with my Ryda doll, I was so apprehensive about spending serious money on such a product being a first timer but I needn't have worried, Lucid toys have been fantastic, prompt with delivery and quire's.....as for the doll, everything I wanted and more, if you are hesitant about buy a doll from Lucid, don't be, great people to deal with.
