Very disappointed with Lululemon. My daughter saved up her own money to buy a brand-new pair of Align leggings. Within the first two hours of wearing them in high school PE, a classmate pushed her down on the indoor gym floor and the leggings developed a hole. She has participated in high school PE for nearly two years and has played two full volleyball seasons. She regularly wears leggings and slides on gym floors, and none of her other leggings—even much less expensive ones—have ever torn. For the price, we expected these leggings to be far more durable. When we contacted Lululemon, they denied our request because they said the damage was not a manufacturing defect. If these leggings are not designed to withstand normal athletic activity, that should be made clear. Had we known they were this delicate, she would never have worn them to PE. Unfortunately, our experience was that the quality did not match the premium price, and the company did not stand behind the product.
Honestly, don't understand the bad reviews. They have such good quality clothes. The price is a little high, which is why I can't leave a 5 star review, but really, I can still wear the same leggings and tops from 6 years ago, with virtually no signs of wear. So really, the prices are almost justified.
Worst return policy ever - I will never shop there again
Wish I had done research before forking out 118e for new leggings. I have purchase history with Lululemon, my last pair of leggings lasted 3 years and were worn throughout a full term pregnancy. They had stretched so I decided to get new ones as a treat. The composition of the leggings has obviously changed to a lower quality as after 2 MONTHS of use the leggings were piling in many areas and the signature align material felt brushed. I contacted customer service as I was sure the product was defective, since I worn my previous pair for the exactly same uses (general wear and walking, on rotation with many other pairs of leggings) and got a reply that they were damaged due to ‘heat’. Nothing else no further explanation. Obviously a company who has comprised their quality for cheaper manufacturing, while still increasing their prices! Disgusting behaviour from Lululemon Ireland, Europe, UK. Quality promise form, customer service Lululemon.
Quality is incredibly short-lived. I purchased a shrug, and after wearing it once, without washing or any other tampering, there were some patches with frayed fibres. Those patches looked similar to run-down clothes that I have worn for years.
I have tried for four days to PURCHASE A$250 gift card for my daughter..they work with a third party Cash star… the first two times I attempted to purchase gift cards, cc was declined( nothing wrong with my CC). So we used my husband’s card, got a notification that it was purchased then immediately both times was declined. Lululemon customer service DID NOT HELP ONE Bit! Called cash star- no help , no call back. Today I asked for a supervisor Cristian, while he listened, really didn’t do anything else. Still waiting to PURCHASE A gift card. SOO DISAPPOINTED AND SOURED WITH MY ONLINE EXPERIENCE.
They collect email addresses under the false promise that they will give you a discount - this is a scamming company- and then you talk to the customer (non)service to tell you the same thing- they pay support for nothing, this is the ANTI-CUSTOMER and non-service company
One of the slowest worst return policy & services i’ve seen.
My 11 yo daughter saved her money to purchase a water bottle, and not even 3 months later the color started to peel. We’ve always hand washed and air dried this, so it’s not due to misuse or harsh dishwasher heat. I emailed customer service for a replacement under their “quality service guarantee” and they claim it works just fine as a cup so there’s no replacement. There is no reason the color should be peeling after 3 months and it’s basically unable to be used due to shedding of color/lining. All customer service responses take 10 days to receive, so nothing gets resolved. Horrible customer service and crappy guarantee!
What a disappointment! Purchased a £450 coat, 5 months later washed according to instructions and the zipper was broken. Instantly reached out to customer services in hope that they would offer a repair / replacement. They had me send photographs and then answered that my coat looked ‘well Loved’ and they would not be offering any form of support. I advised the coat looked brand new except for a broken zipper and was happy to return for their inspection, the customer services just refused to engage in any dialogue. I was so disappointed when I have loved the brand for so long. I expected to enjoy the coat for 5 years not 5 months! I will be claiming under the section 75 consumer credit act (see Martin Lewis website) as this is just too much money to write off. Very disappointing Lululemon, you will need to do better in such a competitive market place 😔
I have Lululemon Joggers. While drying them, the glue that holds the legs together behind the knee, dried out! The pant legs literally opened up a huge whole. Because I had them more than a year, the company was unwilling to offer any help - repair, replacement or even a discount on a new pair. I am done wth them.
I received a gift from my boyfriend’s mom from lulu and it was the incorrect size and style, I don’t have a receipt I don’t have a gift receipt she doesn’t have a an account so Lululemon won’t let me do a single thing with these stupid leggings. I can’t exchange it. I can’t get a gift card. I cannot do a single thing with these leggings that do not fit, that have never been worn and that are not my style. i’ve talked to three people someone in the store a customer support chat bot, and the customer support phone number. They all told me the same thing that I cannot do anything and that i have to keep these leggings that do not fit and aren’t my style these leggings were a gift and my boyfriend‘s mom would find it so offensive if I asked for a receipt to return it so there’s no way for me to return these. I hate Lululemon. I will never shop here again. they are disgusting people there needs to be a class action lawsuit filed.
I've been a customer for many years of Lululemons and do a lot of my shopping online. Never had a problem till today. I had a delivery today of a pair leggings and a pair of shorts. The bag the shorts were in was torn open, the tags were torn off the shorts and they were wrinkled beyond belief. They had obviously been worn - they stunk. When I tried a chat I got nowhere. I was so fed up I finally closed down the chat. Their product is so over priced to begin with and now I have a pair of $100. used, dirty Lululemon shorts. Great. Just great.
Really crappy customer service. I did not receive a product and basically they called me a liar and refused to make things right. For such an obnoxiously huge, publicly traded company, they should be utterly ashamed of themselves. I will no longer be wearing this brand, nor will I own any of the stock. Shame on you
I’ve been a loyal customer of Lululemon for years, but this experience completely changed my trust in the company. I recently spent over $1,400 and went into the store to purchase items. They didn’t have the products in stock, and a sales associate told me I had to order online. I clearly explained that I was leaving for a trip in a few days. She told me I would receive the order “on Monday,” but never specified the actual date. When I got home and reviewed the order, I realized the delivery date was April 27 — far too late, since I’m leaving before then. I immediately contacted customer service, explained the situation, and asked to cancel the order. I was told they could not cancel it because their policy only allows cancellations within 15 minutes. I found this extremely unreasonable, especially since I was misled in-store. What’s most disappointing is that no one even tried to help or find a solution. I suggested a simple compromise: cancel part of the order and allow me to purchase what was available in-store. They refused without any flexibility. To make matters worse, when I returned to the store, I was told (by an employee) that this is how they are instructed to handle situations like this. That is very concerning. Now I’m stuck with an order being delivered while I’m away, which will likely be returned — and I may even be charged restocking fees. This is unacceptable. There’s no question that the product quality is good, but customer service and loyalty to customers are extremely poor. Policies like this, combined with a lack of transparency and flexibility, make it very difficult to trust this company. I would strongly recommend that others be cautious when ordering, especially if timing matters.
