I didn't realize Methodiq was rebranded Il Makiage, I couldn't wear their product either. I have requested a return label several times and keep being told their system is down. I hope they don't intend on charging me for this product considering my efforts to return.
Product wasn’t bad, just didn’t work for my mature skin. The “return policy” is a complete shit show. When you attempt to return the product, you receive an error message stating that your product hasn’t been delivered yet and once it has been delivered, you can initiate a return…even though you’ve had the product in your possession for over a week. When you attempt to complete a Chat 💬 no one, you are told that someone in Customer Service will reach out to you. All you receive is an email stating that the “system is down” and they “can’t process any returns at this time”. If they attempt to charge my credit card after the “Try Before You Buy” time limit is up, I will did put the charge with my bank.

METHODIQ has been amazing for my sensitive skin. I get cystic acne, and although there is really nothing that can help it, METHODIQ products help the hyperpigmentation marks that cystic acne leaves behind. It also helps my big pores . I saw results within the first week. I would highly recommend their products.
Shipped quick! Shade match was very close. Only issue i had was one of the pumps on my moisturizer didn't work well but i saw results in my acne after 1-2 uses!
Quality products and great customer service. I haven’t had a serious breakout since starting with the duo. Love the free pimple patches that come with my subscription and I ran out of product on the exact day my subscription came in! 🤗
Shipping was relatively quick, but unfortunately that's the only positive. When I opened my try first skin shield product, I squeeze a bit onto my hand as directed, and then tried to use the brush to brush it onto my face. The product was very thick and sticky, almost tacky and didn't spread well. It also absolutely highlighted my large pores and peach fuzz. Lastly, the shade was completely wrong and was a sickly yellow on my skin.
I have to be completely honest, I did not expect it to match my skin tone, the way that it has. As a black woman, with acne scaring, it’s gonna be very challenging to find makeup that is healthy for your skin, but also doesn’t wash you out. I am very shocked at how much the technology was able to match the foundation to my skin.I am pleasantly surprised, and I hope they come out with a skin tint for the summer. Using the app has been easy and efficient. I have no changes or complaints.
