When I signed up for Prime membership for an £80 saving on flights, the prices still came to more when charges were added that weren't mentioned until checkout. Opodo started charging me £9.99 a month (including during the alleged "free" period, which apparently doesn't exist). I immediately called to cancel this Prime serviceand complain about the lack of a free trial period, only to be told that a refund wasn't possible but they'd stop the charges going forwards. The company then continued to charge me monthly and the service was only cancelled following another lengthy call when they refused to refund even the £19.98 they'd charged since the point when the agent told me the membership had been cancelled. This company has desended into a pure scam outfit. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Given that I joined to buy tickets to visit Belfast for a funeral this has made the whole experience very traumatic.

Car hire booked through Opodo. Pick up from Surprice Manchester airport. Paid for extra insurance. Arrived at desk to be told that I would need to pay an extra £150 because I had 3 penalty points on my licence. Even though Surprice have acknowledged that they made a mistake. Opodo refused to refund me
