30.4.2026 Music of The Lion King Concert at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet 12.4.2026 I was dissatisfied with the Music of The Lion King concert produced by Star Entertainment Europe by Lancelot Productions as a rental production at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet 12.4.2026 The advance information and execution were not at all correct or as promised. However, Star Entertainment Europe by Lancelot Productions finally heard my feedback (after first labeling my feedback as a troll or fake) and handled the case with honor and responsibility. I hope that in the future, rental productions performed at the premises of the Finnish National Opera and Ballet will match the general good standard of the opera. I am also willing to attend performances produced by Star Entertainment Europe by Lancelot Productions, presuming that they are executed as according to the pre information. Added 9.5.2026. I have contacted straight Star Entertainment Europe by Lancelot Productions and will not make any changes to my rewiev. I don't know who is resposible of these answers to people who send rewiews to Trustpilot. Facts are, that we were at The Music of the Lion King concert at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet 12.4.2026. The concert was produced by Star Entertainment Europe by Lancelot Productions and I have been discussing about my rewiev straight with the production company. Star Entertainment Europe by Lancelot Productions has now divided into two companies. The former concentrates in Germany and the latter (Lancelot production) in other countries. The splitting doesn't change the fact: Star Entertainment Europe by Lancelot Productions produced the Music of The Lion King -concert in Finland 12.4.2026.
I bought tickets to a show in ADELAIDE!!!which was postponed. We waited for the new date and then it was cancelled. The email to cancel came two hours after the show was due to start. They said to send details for a refund which I did. After many emails I have had no response and no refund. I have emailed info at star-entertainment.eu and vi@lancelot.productions but no one replies. Amex only covers fraudulent transactions up to 90days. I'm out $300.
12.4.2026 The Music of The Lion King If that was supposed to be the Broadway symphony orchestra, choir, and soloists, I have to say their performance was pretty weak! This was promised: "MUSIC FROM THE LION KING Immerse yourself in the unforgettable world of music from The Lion King. In this concert, you’ll hear familiar favorite songs from Disney’s iconic story. Performed by star soloists from the original Broadway productions and accompanied by the Broadway Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, this concert captures the spirit and adventure of The Lion King." I don’t really believe that (they were Broadway artists), though. To me, the whole thing—*Music of The Lion King*—was a sham! I know The Lion King very well (I’ve seen both the movie and the London musical production), and what I saw now was like a production by someone who doesn’t know it at all. Don’t waste your time and money on these productions—make sure the production has a license and has received good reviews! NOTE: The production company responds to these criticisms by dismissing them as false or trolling. All the information about the production comes from their "intro," which I received along with my ticket. If necessary, I can provide screenshots.
I attended The Music of the Lion King concert on April 12, 2026. I had heard that they were using background videos created with AI, but there was no mention of this when I bought the tickets (I should have checked their backgrounds better before purchasing). The first half went ok, but the second half felt like I was at a different concert. The soloists turned into hosts, and the worst part — along with the AI-generated background videos — was the performance of Shakira’s Waka Waka not once but TWICE. What does that have to do with TLK? The songs lacked the grand characteristic of TLK and I highly doubt that they were performed by the renowned Broadway Symphonic Orchestra. Don’t waste your money on their concerts. Edit and answer to Star Entertainment GmbH: Nice try. And FYI: Finland is not part of Scandinavia.
The concert was absolutely rubbish. Do not waste your money and time on this kind of hoax.
Veranstaltung am 6.4.2026 - 20 Uhr Berliner Philharmonie - Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon. Update regarding the response from 16.4.2026: Your response is factually incorrect. I responded to the form that included a phone number; no other information was requested. And while we submitted our claims through the ticket vendor, this does not change the fact that the event did not take place without any prior communication, and we only found out on-site that there was no lease or usage agreement with the Berlin Philharmonic. The right approach would be to apologize—mistakes happen—and then accept the consequences by offering compensation.
Title: Unauthorized concert using Howard Shore’s name without permission I attended the “Der Herr der Ringe & Der Hobbit – Das Konzert” on March 22, 2026 at Konzerthaus Karlsruhe. I paid €185,93 for 2 Premium tickets and left deeply disappointed. Misleading advertising: The Instagram ad explicitly used Howard Shore’s name — “Vom legendären, weltführenden Komponisten Howard Shore.” However, Howard Shore has publicly stated on his official website (howardshore.com) that these concerts have NO association with him and that the music is assembled from unauthorized bootleg arrangements. A lawsuit is currently in process. Guest bait-and-switch: Billy Boyd was advertised. Dylan Smith (a minor actor from an Amazon series) appeared instead. AI-generated content: The promotional video suggested original film footage. Instead, AI-generated videos were shown — clearly because they have no rights to the originals. Musical quality: The musicians performed out of tune throughout the entire concert. Not a single piece was performed correctly. I have filed a PayPal dispute and contacted Star Entertainment directly requesting a full refund of €185,93. Do not waste your money on this show. Update: Star Entertainment replied claiming nobody filed a PayPal dispute and that I have a fake account. Both claims are false. I am a real customer who attended the concert on March 22, 2026 at Konzerthaus Karlsruhe. My PayPal dispute case number is PP-R-LDP-621568363. I have also sent a formal refund request directly to Star Entertainment’s official email address. Regarding Howard Shore — his official statement about these unauthorized concerts is still publicly available on his website. I encourage anyone to search “Howard Shore unofficial concerts” and read it themselves. Regarding Billy Boyd — I have a saved screenshot of their Instagram advertisement featuring his name. I am not a troll. I am simply a customer who paid €185,93 for a misleading performance and wants a refund.
Attended "music from the lord of the rings, the hobbit, rings of power" concert on March 12th 2026. Centennial hall London Ontario. This was a star entertainment organized event and it was so terrible. I literally gasped in shock of how awful and slimy this company is. The way they add notes, and pauses and keep songs under 1min 30 so they avoid lawsuits. It's scummy and I even feel worse for the musicians. "Featuring scenes from the movies" false it was just ai from like 2023 and Christopher lee was 100% deep faked. Everything about this show screamed AI everything down to the music. It's like they put a prompt into AI and said hey write out musical notes that sound like the Lord of the rings music but make it so we don't get a lawsuit. It was terrible. It was cheap and I truly want to refund. I've seen official Lord of the rings in concert where they play a massive Orchestra under a big movie screen, and they play the score to the movie and it is phenomenal but this this is something else don't waste your money. Don't waste your time. I wouldn't even go for free to be honest. It was supposed to be a gift for my buddies birthday. We are huge Lord of the rings fans and I listened to the soundtrack daily and this was off by a long shot. Sure, the actor that they got the host was honestly the only good thing about the show. It was some dwarf from The Hobbit, who barely had any speaking Lines, but he shared some interesting facts but honestly, other than that, I would give this negative stars if I could, I feel terrible for the musicians. I hope they get paid and I hope I get my money back. I have proof of my ticket so don't say it wasn't advertised in Canada because it is if you can guide me to where I can contact someone who can give me a refund I will take down this review, but stop scamming people and stop playing terrible music and dishonouring a fantastic trilogy. For lord of the rings fans out there, you'll understand this review "This made me not want to rewatch Lord of the rings"
I attended the Harry Potter concert in Belgium and was very disappointed by the experience. The production ran poorly: several video screens malfunctioned throughout the show, which disrupted the atmosphere and made key moments hard to follow. A promised special guest never appeared, and the overall execution felt unprofessional. After the event I filed a complaint and was explicitly promised a refund, but several weeks have passed and I still have not received any money. The organizer has also been ignoring my emails, leaving me without any update or timeline for repayment. I’m sharing this so others know what to expect and so the organizers are held accountable.
False advertising! The only reason I bought the ticket is because it stated that Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) will host it “Live on Stage”. He was not there and I specifically bought a front row seat to see him live. Edit after your reply: Location and date- Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. Location- The Empire Theatre, Belleville, Canada I would attach the screenshot but I can’t add a photo, here is the copy that was copied directly from the event - “ Presented by "Neville Longbottom" Matthew Lewis & Live on Stage - A Star from the Films”
An event got cancelled and I never received a refund. It has been weeks now and star entertainment has not emailed me back at all. Edit:since they replied, I bought the tickets from event bright. Star entertainment emailed everyone that refunds would be processed and mine never was, and eventbrite is telling me the organizer, which is star entertainment, needs to be the one to refund as they are just a 3rd party that facilitates sales. The event was cancelled 11/26 and was supposed to be on 12/12 and I still have not gotten a refund.
My young daughter used her own money to purchase Hans Zimmer concert tickets from Star Entertainment. But when she arrived at the concert, there was no concert. And no refund given. Total scam! And there's no phone number to call.
After interviewing with this company, I started working for them, initially with a one-week paid trial period (confirmed by them in two separate emails). The trial was meant for them to see how I worked, and for me to understand if the job was a good fit. During the very first days, I realized the job was nothing like what was described in the job posting and nothing like what I expected, so I decided not to continue and worked only four days. I then issued the invoice for those four days, and from that point on I received nothing back. Months of unanswered emails from my side, not even a reply on WhatsApp. Do not trust this “company". Edit: You tell me that I should raise my issue through the appropriate channels. Which ones, exactly? What are they? Email? Because in the countless emails I’ve already sent, none of which I’ve ever received a reply to, your Business & Marketing Leader was always in cc. Are there any other ways to contact you? Because you have been extremely unprofessional, and this appears to be a defining trait of your company, as also reflected in the reviews above.
Absolute Scam I hope their activities stop before more people get scammed due to their horrible and nefarious ways in how they treat those who bought tickets to their shows. I was to attend an event about harry potter in concert in Melbourne in Aug 2025. Turns out they cancelled a few weeks prior saying that the lead star/collab is not available. We paid between $120-140 AUD per ticket. When tried to reach out for a refund, we barely heard anything from them or their team. To this day, the refund is still being processed without any further clarity, communication or timeline. If there is way, collective action can be taken against them, sign me up! cuz what they are doing is exploitative and predatory behaviour and people should not suffer due to such organisations
My daughter has been trying to get a refund for a show in Adelaide that they cancelled. No automatic refund, you have to request it or they just keep your money even though they cancelled an event. Refund my daughter or we are taking legal action against your company.
