I am an ordinary foreigner working in Saudi Arabia. I have four banks, and the newly opened bank, SNB, provides very poor service, especially their staff services. Our situation sitting in front of their staff is the most pitiful. We don't see a single smile on their faces. Their faces look like we've committed some kind of murder. If you want to see their smiles, if a Saudi customer comes in, their facial expressions completely change. You can see them smiling and talking to them for a long time, more interested in the matter than we are. So it's not because they don't know, but because they want to see us as a local.
money disappeared from the account, contacted the bank to provide a report on all payments made, after that the bank blocked the account, for five months it has not provided a report on where the money disappeared from the account and does not return the money that was on the account
Don't not use sterling they will freeze your account for no reason and then keep your money. They left me with 3 kids with no food gas electricity and nappies and I had £200 in my account. Use a bank that has a branch I will never be using sterling again. The staff don't care and just fob you off and say they will contact you and never do I've had to contact the bank ombudsman to get this sorted
Shocking service! Three weeks trying to set up a business bank account! So much paperwork, screen shots and emails! Then suddenly a NO! No phone call to talk over why, shocking company for 2022!!! Tried another company today - called Tide! Done in 24 hours all set up and ready to go! Shame, about to invest 450k into that account! They missed out on this business idea!
I have spent 4 days trying to set up an account to switch my business banking. It’s been absolutely terrible. I have called customer services, several times. Logged an IT issue twice, with no joy so far. Although I was promised, someone would call me back. Adding to my misery, I have been using their online chat facility. This has made a bad situation even worse. No one seems to know what they are doing or what is happening. I jumped on to Trustpilot to see what others experiences were..... No Surprises. Very bad. My experience echos others..... I won’t be continuing this quest. I need confidence in a bank to handle my business account.
Do not bank with these. I have had subscription that I tried to cancel on a site which was not working so could not do this they then took the money and I had told Sterling that I had been trying to cancel and was unable to. They then disputed this with the seller and I had a reply in a day saying they can get the money back as it was a subscription. Funny enough I bank with other banks and all of them are able to do this as a charge back. Sterling has no protection for the users so do not bank with them
absolutely the worst excuse for a bank i have ever had to deal with in my entire life. they make wells fargo look like angels
