This company is a scam operation. They collect your storage break it and hide behind some fraudulent contract. I paid them 14,000 pounds to store and ship my storage, not including actual storage costs for 9 months. They damaged my precious antique collection and now I have to sue them. Avoid doing business at all costs!!! They have hundreds of bad reviews and should be shut down to protect the public.

Broken, scratched, covered in mud and grime furniture is not what anybody wants when moving into their new home. I helped a friend move back into her house, she used this moving company who had kept her stuff in storage for a couple of months. It was awful to see the terrible condition of all her belongings. She put faith in this company to keep her stuff safe and protected and they destroyed her furniture! Her bedside table is chipped and not usable anymore. They used awful duct tape that has taken the paint and veneer off her bookshelf and desk. If you love your belongings never use this company, they don't care enough to value you as a customer and protect your belongings. Using this company will bring you heartache and strife.
I stored my stuff with stored for six months as I was renovating my place and wanted a stressfree place to leave my furniture. Everything was basically fine up until the point I had to get my stuff back - not only do they not pro rata your fee which I had queried when I first signed up so I think I was lied to, they also damaged all of our furniture. As a storage company you would hope they use good tape and take care of your items - literally every single bit of wood furniture I have has been destroyed. I was also promised atleast a 50% refund for my monthly deposit because why would I pay for a whole month if I’m taking out my stuff four days after the payment date? But that hasn’t arrived either. It’s the weekend now and I’m sure that’s why I haven’t heard anything but instead of a stressfree solution I’ve got completely ruined furniture which will cost me thousands to replace.

As others have said - AVOID at all costs! I used them last year (September) and when my items were returned to me at the start of the year multiple items had gone missing. They were unable to give me any details on what had happened and offered me a measly £20 compensation when they lost over £500 worth of my belongings. My boxes had also been clearly tampered with in transit (likely why they 'lost' half of them) and I was given no explanation or apologies with regards to this. Customer service team are also very unhelpful and it appears it's actually only one person using multiple email accounts/different names. Also seem to not reply to any negative reviews on here, only positive ones. Incredibly unprofessional company. Don't use unless you want your items to be misplaced or taken.
I used them last year (collection June 2023, delivery October 2023), and they called the day before collection to say they unfortunately won't be in Oxford that day and we would have to reschedule. Only because I had some buffer time between collection and moving out of student accommodation, I could accommodate this. 2 stars for actually showing up next week, collecting and later delivering 95% of my stuff. I had an item in a backpack, and they had labelled the backpack during collection. During delivery, I only got the content of the backpack, and they had slapped the same label on this item. Then they wanted me to sign for having received the backpack. This was an uncomfortable situation, as the persons delivering needed a signature to go on with their day, and they were not responsible for the lost item and know nothing about it, but I also didn't want to sign for something I had not received. We agreed to change the manifest so the label no longer read "backpack", but it still didn't feel right to sign for the item label number that I did not receive. I would have more trust in them if they had simply told me before delivery that they lost the backpack and offered compensation, instead of slapping the label on the content and wanting me to sign for having received the backpack. As a sidenote, collection was really rushed, and they dropped my table on the stone stairs of the building. This year I ended up using another service, because I did not have any buffer time and I did not trust them.
My son's booking for collection and storage of his student belongings over the summer was cancelled within 24 hours of the collection date meaning we had to frantically ring round for alternative at late notice as due to move out of student house terrible service would not recommend
To be honest, they have no worth to take 1 star. I have told them that there are not only three boxes but also other items such as drying rack, kitchen items, and some clothes with large shopping bags. However, they took only 3 boxes and I could see them in my inventory. So, I asked them for check my stored luggages and whether they did take all of items in my room. Then, they told me they brought out the “VISIBLE” items. So, I had to apply for re-collection and pay for it although it is ultimately their fault. Moreover, they cancelled the second collection service because the reception team didn’t allow them to enter in even though I have checked the confirm with the reception team. And, they got the cancellation fee as £200 from my card. That is so UNFAIR and RIDICULOUS. I would never recommend them to others around me.
Bystored cancelled a delivery, only informing me the next day. They said they would call within the week to rearrange - this didn’t happen. I requested another return - they proposed another date. I asked to partly use their date and partly another - no response. This is normal for them. The logistics, customer service and communication are terrible.
AVOID AT ALL COST! The movers team was rushing through the delivery, and heavily scratched my wooden floor. Evidence sent immediately to the management, management refused the responsibility, no apology, said there is no evidence unless there is a CCTV footage (inside the flat ??) . More damages to stored items found: scratches to tables; patches of paint missing from cupboards. This service - NO THANK YOU! Avoid at all cost!
The removal service red teams arrived earlier than expected, so they were able to get service much faster. They were very professional and friendly
