Although the flight staff is quite nice, they do not respect the departure times. We bought tickets to Tenerife and there were delays of 2 hours both at departure and arrival. This happened on 2 different occasions.
If I could give this airline minus stars, I would their because they're site had technical problems. I could not order my luggage in time which they punished me into paying in the airport for 10 kilos a 1500kr (approximately 200 euros) insted of 215 kr. that I should have been paying on their site. And the customer service didn't help because ir couldn't be contacted because of the technical issues..
One of the zippers on our babystroller transportation bag was completely ripped off on this flight back from Gran Canaria. They would only refund half the price of the bag. It’s not possible to even buy a used replacement bag at this price! Additionally on the way to Gran Canaria a week earlier, the flight attendant more or less harassed us, saying we were not allowed to have our baby on the side of the isle with only 3 masks (this was when the seat belt fasten sign was switched off); meanwhile a family of four camped in front of us on the same side of isle and others went to the bathroom constantly. I understand this applies when the sign is on, but not off, but this flight attendant kept going at us!
I have never seen such a rude staff before. Unfortunate. (Helsinki-Tenerife)
This will be my last time traveling with Sun No Class Airlines. The staff was incredibly rude and exhibited racist behavior; it almost felt as though they were forced into their jobs. The space was cramped, the seats were uncomfortable, and the service was exceptionally poor. If you're not Scandinavian, be prepared to receive strange looks and be treated differently than others.
Traveled with Sunclass Airlines (Ving) from Arlanda to Phuket at the beginning of February 2023. Economy in an Airbus 330-900 neo. I have flown quite a lot in my life and consider myself a seasoned air traveller. But I've never experienced such lousy legroom as on this plane. I am not very tall (177), but could not find a position in the seat during the roughly eleven-hour flight, which could be perceived as somewhat comfortable. If animals had been transported in this way, the Animal Protection Authority would have intervened immediately. Folding down the table was only half done. Talked to some fellow travelers who sounded almost shocked at how little space it was. I think you bite yourself in the tail by skimping on the space just to fit in a few extra rows of seats. It would be interesting to hear the owner Petter Stordalen tell how they reasoned. I don't think he has tried a long flight in economy in this plane.
What a shambles this company is, from Oslo to Phuket .not very much to complain about except once you've sat down in your seat you can't move and we are normal sized people, on the way back from Phuket first we had to fly to Krabi for fuel,(20 mins flight)because the plane was then to heavy they had to take off half the luggage just to take off, we were not told about this until we landed in Oslo .so half the passengers arrived without their luggage ,the food onboard is the worst ever, a dried out baguette with two pieces of something and a piece of I think it was lettuce, the lady next to us paid extra for hers it was the same as ours except it came in a box, god only knows when we will get our luggage again, like I said never ever again will we fly subclass airlines and VIng should be ashamed of itself for using this airline.(Ving is a Norwegian travel agent).
I had an excellent experience flying to Heraklion-Crete with Sunclass (via Spies). I was concerned about safety and punctuality, as I couldn’t find any relevant reviews. I was positively surprised!! I was also concerned about the waiting time at CPH airport, so I arrived 2-3 hrs in advance. The baggage check-in and drop-off went extremely fast and smooth. I had also ordered fast track, so the security check took only few min. The timing of the flight worked great for me (departure around 17). We departed on time, the aircraft was modern and clean (Airbus-neo), comfortable seat, the personnel was friendly. Their prices for snacks and refreshments were also ok. No issues with the baggage pick-up at Heraklion airport. Overall, I truly enjoyed my first flight with them. I highly recommend them to family and friends flying to Crete. Thank you for the safe and pleasant flight! P.S. It would be great if their online system could allow seat reservation + extra baggage during the last 4 days before the flight.
