Terrible customer service and they absolutely will not help you with fraud i think they stole my money. Will not reverse a fraudulent charge on my bank card..so im closing my account .Banks stealing a seniors money on a fixed income..
I attempted to open an account with TD Bank and came prepared with several forms of ID and documentation (EAD, passport, proof of address, etc.). Despite this, I was not approved to open an account. Bank manager was very dismissive. I found that behavior quite disturbing to me, especially because i am to this. I ended up going to another bank where the process was smooth and welcoming, so everything worked out in the end — just not with TD Bank. (Thank god) 👍
0 professionalism. The worst bank to ever exist. They provided me with misleading and wrong information about my RSP first time home buyer account contribution limit. When I complained for losing over $5000 in taxes. They said they didn’t tell me anything and the employee manager attested that his employee is skilled and wouldn’t make a mistake by sharing misleading information. The call apparently wasn’t recorded and I was lied to and again gaslighted.
I am waiting in the edison, NJ location for a half hour for a consultation. While there is a greeter on the floor to chat. They should reallocate the resources. There are 4 people waiting. Continued; I waited another 20 minutes without either of the 2 available representatives even acknowledging my presence. I left after waiting 45 minutes and not being noticed.

I am so frustrated with TD now. It got so much worst than before. As a loyal customer for 20 years, I feel hopeless and helpless. My lesson learnt is " not put too much money with TD on your RRSP or RESP or any similar investment account". Too much problem and no time to go over these garages. I suggest the Trustpilot to open the function for "no Star".
Assessed a $15 service fee for not maintaining the minimum daily balance of $250 which is a newly introduced requirement on their convenience checking accounts. I increased my account balance and called customer service to politely ask to have the charge reversed, but my request was denied. I've been a customer for nearly 20 years and they still did not show any leeway.
Ordered precious metals from them. Only 3 small items that were said to be in stock. There is a delivery delay they stated maybe 3-4 weeks for delivery from their usual 1-2. It’s been almost 10 weeks since I paid them and I haven’t received my package or heard anything other than more delays 4 weeks ago. It’s hard to believe it’s a shipping issue at this point. I have other places I could buy what I need not far away, in stock, claimable instantly. Foolish to use their services. I am considering finding another bank just due to this unprofessionalism alone. Seeing other customer reviews is making me worry about where I keep my hard earned money.
Negative rating If I could put -100 I totally would, never will I refer someone to the TD Bank. Tellers tell me they are holding a deposit for 3 days and Easyweb says 7 call the branch manager who can speak clear english he says 5.....so who i lying here. Been dealing with TD for 40 years and it has gone to the dogs. I have been refused every product from this bank and have an outstanding credit rating. Customer service when you call in is horrible, they are rude and short and make you feel like they have zero time for you.
I’m really starting not to like TD bank, a lot of their workers are not welcoming….they/the system be lying to you to make you make changes you don’t want or had no idea about ….let’s say you don’t want to change your card they will make the ATM not return it and tell you, you can no longer get the card you did not want to let go back ,they just say here’s another new updated one , I’ve had my username and password for years know them by heart , out of nowhere with no notice nothing whatsoever they locked my account and forced me to change my password , multiple customer service agents acting like they have no idea what is going on there’s only one solution that’s to change my password, not even the branch could help me …when I clearly told them I didn’t want to change my password I had no issues whatsoever with it nor with my account. They forced me to change it .They seem to careless about customer satisfaction, it’s what they want that matters….it’s really aggravating me
