My Amazon business account was locked due to an alleged outstanding balance with "TRS Recovery Services". I have contacted TRS directly, and they officially confirmed that there is NO debt and no record of my account. This is clearly a technical system error on Amazon’s end. When I reached out to Amazon Support to resolve this, I was met with complete incompetence. The chat agents and the supervisor (Vignesh) explicitly admitted they have no access to the details of the lock and could not provide a single Order ID or valid reason. Phone support simply hung up on me after 20 minutes of waiting. Amazon is holding my business operations hostage over a non-existent debt and refuses to provide any proof, despite me demanding a billing review. They are forcing customers into a loop of automated emails and dead-end calls. Do not use Amazon Business if you value your company's operational security.
I've been an Amazon customer for 20 years but no more! I've never experienced such horrible customer service by any company as I've experienced from them! Let's start with the customer service agents first. I've had them flat out lie to me a few times telling me my refund was on the way but never received it. Amazon sends out nasty emails telling me they're going to charge me for items I've already returned (sometimes weeks and weeks earlier). I've been charged for almost $150 worth of products that I have returned. So, not only am I out the product, I'm out the money too! To actually speak with a customer service agent takes a half an hour and they're so inept you may or may not get any results. I've had their customer service agents end calls without my permission, transfer me to two and sometimes three different people because they couldn't figure out a simple return question! I don't think I've ever hated a company but I do detest Amazon. I will shop anywhere but there, even if it costs more money!
⚠️ Warning About Keeping Large Amazon Gift Card Balances I want to share my recent experience with "amazon.com" to warn others. Over the past few years, I accumulated approximately $960 in Amazon gift cards from legitimate sources: - $500 and $300 rewards from wso2 as part of their Ambassador Program. When I attempted to place an order, Amazon flagged my account for “unusual activity” and requested proof of ownership of the gift cards. I provided: - My government-issued ID. - Official emails proving the gift cards were legitimate rewards. Despite this: - My orders were canceled. - My account was restricted and later closed. - I lost access to my $960 gift card balance. At one point, Amazon even emailed me saying my appeal had a positive outcome and that I could place a new order, but shortly afterward my account was restricted again. My Advice To reduce risk, consider redeeming gift cards only when you are ready to use them rather than storing large balances on your account. Questions for the Community - Has anyone experienced something similar? - Were you able to recover your account or balance? - What steps helped resolve the issue? I hope sharing this experience helps others avoid similar problems.
I give one because I can’t give it 0 , they were bad before now they are horrible . They lied they offered things they can’t they when you call to see why credits are not applied they simple said “ we can’t the other customer service associate told you something untrue “ “ we will make sure this never happen “ and it keep happening . I’m about to cancel my account. It is horrific
I have spent a lot of money with Amazon over the years. Amazon has really gotten beside themselves. They Customer Service has really gone down their shipping fees are ridiculous and overall they are just not a great company anymore. I recently tried to make a purchase with a third party called after pay and the purchase was not going through. Those third party companies give you a one time card, so I had to keep deleting it. Amazon has permenently suspended my account because the app was not working. Goodbye and so long Amazon you did me a huge favor. I hope you lose more. You have gotten to big for your britches
Tried make order. Amazon said could not because unusual activity. Amazon closed my account, I did not. Wanted me to send my id to them I told that was unsafe. Said don't we (Amazon) closing the account and we are taking your money. That is what did they closed the Account and I had $339 gift card balance Amazon took all because no access to my account. Want lose money shop with Amazon
Terrible. They love to say "Don't worry" and "I understand," but they don'tunderstand, partly because of their poor English skills and partly because they don't care. I returned a 6' by 8' rug and the vendor refuses to return my money. He claims I returned a different item, but he won't say what. Amazon is taking his word for it and refusing to return my $390 , despite their "A to Z guarantee." Even thougb one rep told me I would get my money back, although she refused to put it in writing. Why even have "customer service" if you don't valuethecustomer? And why would I go to all the trouble of wrapping up and returning a rug if I were returning the wrong thing? Particularly given the fact that I have never had a dispute before. They suck.
I received the wrong item, and instead of a straightforward solution, I was told I needed to place a new order and pay for shipping AGAIN, which is unreasonable since the mistake was not mine. Customer service was also unhelpful and inconsistent. Multiple agents kept entering and leaving the chat, and I never received a clear or proper resolution. Overall, the experience was frustrating and not what I expect from a large online retailer. Now I am even afraid to send back the product since I might nor even receive the refund and customer service is a joke… My first order from Amazon and for sure my last!
Let us talk about Amazon, a billion dollar company wanting more, more and did I say more wealth? Have purchased from Amazon for a lengthy period of time: reasons? 1. Good quality of merchandise often for lesser prices. 2. For their expedition of deliveries for ordered items. 3. For no shipping and handling fees..helpful when on a fixed income. 4. Their availability to a real person in customer service when the need arises although getting to this person feels like needing an act of God. NOW..shipping and handling charge a given unless u order 35.00 dollars or more. Ordered items are now DELAYED for one excuse or another. Return items now need labels ..not QR codes often requiring the original box which usually has been discarded after receiving said item(s). Made an order recently..had no idea my funds available had been compromised (this one on me) so funds were not available for payment, but now my debit card can no longer be used for future purposes. Requested daytime deliveries over a year ago; one or two times this request was honored: then back to late eve or nighttime deliveries. I could go on, but what good can I do with a billion dollar company who is in full control or thinks they are. However, I be a lion... hear me roar!! Everything in life occurs for a purpose and Amazon better be careful as one reaps what it sows. Shame on the whole lot of this companies' hierarchy. What a sham!: yet another testimony to a world in trouble with Amazon joined at the hip with deception and hungry for the almighty dollar!
I ordered so.e items I needed for the next day at work waited around all day and we were next to be delivered to and the flex driver dropped it last minute contacted customer service twice they promised it would be there by 10 pm contacted them at 1030 pm and they said I'd get a partial refund never got it im done with them after I get my stuff im dropping my membership and never going back
Amazon are a joke I live in a flat Amazon delivery drivers are not ringing bell and just dumping parcels outside in grass then they go missing and Amazon disbelieve you they need to sort out delivery drivers I’ve complained many times so now I’ve deleted my account and won’t use Amazon again I didn’t get refund for item not delivered
Very shady business. I ordered some items and the delivery driver didn't follow instructions and delivered my package to a restaurant. Now I have to wait a week for a refund. This company is a total scam and don't recommend. Customer service reps don't want to help resolve anything. I got disconnected by 3 reps and told I need to wait for further investigation. Their driver screws up and I am the one treated like a criminal because they said "As long as driver delivers in the vicinity of my address the driver did his job" That is a crook of shit. The drivers and the company are very shady.
I Can No Longer Trust Amazon After This Experience As part of an earlier issue, I had filed an A-to-Z claim regarding a problematic order experience. During the resolution process, an Amazon Customer Service representative offered what was described as a one-time reimbursement exception for a future shipped-by-Amazon order under a specified amount. I received this promise in writing and carefully followed every instruction provided: • purchased only shipped-by-Amazon items • kept the total within the required limit • waited until the order was fully delivered • contacted Amazon again exactly as instructed However, when I followed up after delivery, another supervisor informed me that the previous representative had provided “false information” and that Amazon would not honor the written promise made to me. For me, the issue is not simply financial. Trust is one of the most important values in any relationship between a company and its customers. When a company gives written assurances and later refuses to stand behind them, customer trust is broken. I remained calm and respectful throughout the entire process, but after this experience I personally no longer feel comfortable doing business with a company that does not honor its own written commitments. Because of this, I have decided to close my Amazon account and move my future purchases to businesses that value transparency, accountability, and fair treatment of their customers.
Ive received a message from amazon OFM today saying my account is closed, this because I've refunded an order and placed another?! Stealing people money is not fair and inappropriate.. will never deal with amazon scam again...
I was robbed by Amazon UK for almost £2,000. I ordered a camera and they sent me brake pads in the original camera box. I sent them photos and described the crime, but Amazon ignored me. I still haven't gotten my money back.
