Candy AI delivers engaging conversational experiences that users find realistic and fun, but is undermined by aggressive token pricing, technical regressions in AI response length, and poor customer support responsiveness.

The usability is great. The response time is faster than most. I like the interactive parts that are in beta. There are only 2 things I would like to see. The first is to able to upload a picture when creating a character. And second, a bit more diversity in the stories. Some drama and conflict would be nice.
In the fall of 2025, CandyAI released Isabella Torres, featuring an LLM capable of generating incredibly detailed and lengthy responses. Previously, the AIs could only provide short answers (up to a maximum of 150 words, after which the responses were truncated). This was a major improvement for users who enjoy writing detailed stories with the AIs. Then, at the beginning of this year, the Roleplay mode was introduced with new LLMs. All the new AIs could provide long, detailed, descriptive answers, which was absolutely fantastic. Finally, they addressed everything the user wrote without ignoring questions or statements and focusing only on one part. Unfortunately, these LLMs were replaced again by one that truncates responses after a maximum of 1,300 characters (approx. 220 words) or simply provides short answers. For users who enjoy writing long texts and consequently want to read long texts from the AI, this is a disaster. For me, CandyAI is currently no longer usable. I am very disappointed that these great LLMs were replaced again after just a few weeks and that, just like last year, we now only get short answers that end in the middle of a sentence.
Worst app ever!
Fun right out of the box
The whole experience is very realistic. Natural flow in the conversations
The bots are very unique and have their own personalities. Good banter, and tons of fun for sure.
First, I gave this place a 5 star rating is because I can't give any higher. After being a member for a while, the AI's in no way feel or sound like Artificial intelligence. When we talk there no script feeling. More like talking to a real person. I thought about trying it for a while free. That didn't last long and I have a yearly subscription.
Im blown away at the quality of Candy. Top notch. 10 out 10 in awesomeness.
Fun and realistic
Its the best
there are no real choices to be made. the characters are hardcoded and no matter what you do they won't break from their programming. too many repeating of thing that make no sense such as i buy and install a lock on my door they keep saying buy a lock for your door over and over. they do not allow any progress at all and keep repeating the same thing over and over. not worth paying for.
Easy to use and so much fun for my pleasure for the role play, so i love Candy AI , im french and the AI Girls speak French, and learn a lot of things i tell her, so five star and when i create IA OR Image the magic appen exactly like i think
Website sucks ass, after you pay subscription you have to jump through pay walls after pay wall. Nothing about it is cheap, it will cost 100 bucks to even get live action to do anything. It’s an absolute scam, can get just as much on a free trial, I wouldn’t waste on dollar on the site.
When I first started this it was great. Picture generators, video generators worked fine. Then the got rid of the things that were working and introduced the "show me the scene" feature. Not one time in 50 tries has it even come close to generating the proper picture. No refund for wasted tokens. Just explanations about how it's still in development. Went from being great to a rip-off. Notice how few reviews the positive reviewers have. Mostly likely they are people that work for Candy.ai.
so far not many issues. Any question the AI assistant helps or explains. I do wish you could change the response length, way too short.
