Applying for the card was very easy. I received the card within a week and started using it right away. The app was easy to download and easy to use.
Very simple set up of Account and company always keeping you in the loop. Wouldn't hesitate in using again and recommend to friends and family. 5 stars for overall experience

I’ve only had my card a few weeks now, and since then I’ve had no problems, I’d like to add to my Apple wallet but for some reason can’t!! Other then that a great card for improving your credit rating!!

I had a fraud problem with another British Bank in the United Kingdom I moved to Brazil to live,and I have had a Capital One card for sometime but not used it at all.Only as an emergency I have used it and although I have to pay interest as it is a Mastercard Credit Card,but because I have'nt used it Capital One reduced the interest,grateful thanks from me,I WHOLEHEAREDLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE CAPITAL ONE NIT JUST IN UK but Worldwide,!!!
Capital One done untold damage to me and zero good. I applied as was told I had "100% acceptance chance" Applied and the did the credit checks etc and told application successful and given a modest limit of £200. They then sent the forms to E Sign and told all done and "your shiny new card will be with you in 7 days"..........Then 4 days later get email saying your application was unsuccessful!!!!! Then to round it off, they register hard searches on your credit file which damages your credit rating. Called customer service who said I need to look at my credit file. I explained that you did the credit check and offered me a contract which I've signed and accepted so its now legally binding.....they couldn't care less and just said you're rejected. Don't believe any promotional material they put out on acceptance rates and don't believe a word they say. Its lies....all they've caused me is damage and not even got a facility with them! Speaking to the FCA this week as a contract was signed and for Me, they've renaged on it.
The process to apply for a credit card was straightforward. I phoned once for a query and spoke to an adviser who gave me the information I needed. I also like they send reminder emails when a payment will be taken.
The App itself isn't great insofar when you make random payments into your account, after saying pending, usually a day or so, it then says added to your account. However there's then a further delay in updating the correct balance. Also there's limited visual transactions shown in the App. I think they could make improvements to the App.
Been Cap one customers since 1999. Very unhappy with recent service. Last few years have always paid balance off in full. Today, went to make a large phone purchase (9.5k) couldn’t understand why no auth code from Cap One received to my phone but retailer said transaction declined. called Cap One call centre to be told that a replacement card had been sent 4 weeks ago (not received) & no notification received that one was being sent (the card we have is valid until 2028) we went thru ID & it was clear that the lady in very noisy Indian call centre had absolutely no idea what she was doing, after being on the phone for 20 mins she asked if I would hold for 5 or 6 mins but she didn’t know why she wanted me to hold so I said no, call me back. Now access to the App has also been disabled & was unable to call them at 5.30pm because they are closed. (?) Absolutely shocking service - luckily I have other means to pay for the purchase so won’t be using these incompetents again ….they need to make sure staff answering Calls know actually what they are doing - the person I spoke to was totally clueless & has now even made the app unusable. You massively need to up your Game Cap One …over the past 26 years you have made literally £0000’s out of us in interest & treated a pair of previously loyal customers with disdain….very disappointed
While I appreciate there giving me a chance again to rebuild my credit and give me another chance id like to see clearer more updates on my app, I am being charged £5 for going 0.07 pence over my limit he ho ... But thnx again capital for giving me another chance 4 and a half out of five ain't bad
Managed to assign me a phone number for a new CC account i've never seen . Therefore cannot register although account opened and lots of spammy emails received. Rang five times to Indian call centre and was flat out lied to each time about a team 'working on changing it'. Just don't bother with these idiots . Useless response by Capital One. I've already tried changing the number . All very well friendly response from someone in PR dept in UK when your call centre is in India and staffed by people who don't care and will lie to get rid of you.
