Asked about delivery time before I ordered was guaranteed if o paid for special postage it would arrive in time for prom but wasn’t even sent from them until day before it was needed from china to England took over a month then they didn’t want to refund after numerous emails I got half back even though I had had to buy another dress already
Returning dresses/getting a refund from Cicinia is a nightmare. Do not trust their policy as it is clearly a scam. I ordered a bridesmaid dress in two different sizes and was going to send one back - according to their policy this would mean getting a 90% refund and I'd have to pay for the returns, which I was willing to do. However, when I emailed the website to arrange the return, they offered a 25% refund and for me to keep both dresses. They also mentioned how I would need to pay to ship it back to China, even though they shipped from the UK! I refused this and was then offered a 55% refund and to keep both dresses, which I've begrudgingly done, as I will then sell the other dress elsewhere to get some money back. Clearly a scam!
The dresses are good quality. But that is where the positive notes start and end. This company are con artists! First you have to pay nearly £50 for delivery and then they scam you with the returns. Their return policy says 90% refund as long as you return in 14days. But what they fail to mention is that you have to ship them to China so will pay easily £100 shipping to get them back to them and that it will take longer than 14 days so will be outside of their returns policy. Even though they did not send the dresses from China originally! This is a professional con as backs you into a corner of keeping the dresses to avoid the shipping costs (which they even try to advice you to do when you email asking to return dresses!) so that their sales look better! Not to mention that their original returns policy of 90% is illegal anyways as it goes against UK consumer law that states a UK consumer has the right to a100% refund including original standard delivery costs. Even if you tell them this multiple times in email they will continue to refuse to comply. I am having to raise a payment dispute with my credit card company and have a filed a complaint to Citizens Advice Ombudsmen who are looking into this company's fraudulent and illegal trading. Do not use this company! Report them to trading standards and get them shut down!
Returns policy very misleading
The return policy is not good. The quality was poor for £145. Try to return offered £30 !!!!!! Finally got £80. Don't buy.
