Cyberport has a severely damaged reputation with a 1.8/5 rating, driven almost entirely by catastrophic customer service failures including non-responsive support, unshipped orders, false stock claims, and refusal to process refunds.

Bought and already payed for a Mac Studio for about 4000. - Euros online and chose the option to pick it up at the Cyberport-store in Hamburg. The mail confirmation said to bring a passport (Lichtbildausweis) and the Ordernumber. When I was there, the clerk refused to hand out my order, because I'm swiss and didn't have a german passport. I don't know on what kind of power trip this person was. Arguing or reasoning was pointless. So I had to go home empty handed. What a joke of a store.
Placed an order for a product on 01.12 which was shown as being in stock with 2-4 days needed to ship. After 3 days, I still did not even receive a confirmation email for the order, so I called customer service. Was informed that the product has a backlog of 24 orders that haven't been processed and thus the delivery of my order will be significantly delayed. Unfortunately there seems to be a trend of companies not sharing true product availability, which is a huge waste of time for consumers who order products based on fastest delivery time. Had to cancel the order and search elsewhere. At least customer support was helpful and relatively easy to reach, which is a rarity these days.
I am really shocked by how bad Cyberport’s customer service is. It feels like there is no customer service at all. I have been waiting for more than a month and they just keep ignoring me. I wrote several emails and never got any reply, not even once. They promise you to reply within 3 business days, but that is not true at all. It has been more than 4 weeks and nothing has happened. This was an expensive order. I really did not expect this from a big company. It feels like they just don’t care once they have your money. I have never had such a bad experience with any company before. I’m want to warn future customers. Please be careful before you order from Cyberport, because if something goes wrong, you might never get any help.
The product is shipped with a damaged package and being defect inside. I tried multiple times contacting the retailer, but no response whatsoever on email and phone call forever put me on hold. The worst place to buy thing. And the company is entirely a fraud.
Although I experienced several order cancellations without any notice nor reason in the past, I made one more order, received confirmation, invoice and they even registered the package with DPD, but never actually sent it. It's now over a month. They are in violation of their own AGB. Bestellnummer #2013722637
Horrible customer service! Sent my PC in for repairs as it was still under warranty. Recently received an email that my package was on its way back to me more than 10 business days ago. Tracking status has not updated for over 6 business days, still showing in Germany, and has been changed to "Return to sender". I have been trying to call every day for the last 3 business days, cannot get through to any humans. Waiting in automated menu with elevator music for over 1 hour at a time, with no human response.
A great store in Berlin-Mitte, with lovely helpful staff, taking their time for each customer! The prices are incredible, better than anywhere else on the market. I highly recommend it!
Phone delivery didn't happen. Is this the fault of the carrier? Sure. But the delivery support of Cyberport is not easy to deal with. The first call with them went great, thanks to Franko, who was helpful and explained the process properly. If not for him, the review would be a 1-star. But then, they mention they respond in 5 working days - Which is way too much time (as a customer support worker myself, this is unacceptable; if I had such a response rate, I would be fired). 2nd, today is the 7th working, and still no response. They have good products and good prices, but if the after-sales are this dreadful, better to pay a bit more and save the headaches and the stress. - Response to Marc The person in the pick up shop told me that DPD took the package back... So DPD should have it, or the packet shop is lying... I reported this via email to Cyberport, but no one replies...
Ordered a GPU to Latvia. Even tho their website says free returns in 30 days, the link they provide to generate the label for DHL returns doesnt work internationally. It only default to germany. Contacted support (which is slow) in email and they said I need to basically figure it out on my own and pay for the return. How can you advertise free returns if its not the case? Why ship to other countries then even? Why can you generate the label to any country, how difficult that is lol - every cheap clothing store internationally even does this, but one of the biggest brands in Germany cant do it? Now im stuck with a 5070 RTX gpu, and I have no idea how to return it lol. Im not sure how DHL would accept it without any label. Can you even provide a return QR code? And also why have an internationally available store if 99% of your support doesnt SPEAK ENGLISH lol. How difficult is that to learn? They told me in german which I barely understood that they will call me back.. guess what, they still havent. Update: they contacted me and will generate a return label for me. Will remove or change the review when everything will be finalized.
Would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered a gaming laptop, which was never delivered. The customer service barely communicate and said it is not their responsibility. Cyberport is a scam, do not order from them.
Hi, I bought several products which participating in actions by Intel and ASUS. Order: 5005470627. Many messages regarding the promotional game keys and codes associated with the products I purchased were sent. I have not yet received any response or the promised keys, despite several attempts to contact you. Here are the relevant details: Intel CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 265K BX80768265K ASUS Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING Z890-PLUS WIFI ASUS Case: ASUS TUF GAMING GT302 TG ARGB Update: The master key was provided for Intel after this review. For Asus, I will continue to fight with Asus support. Thank you. Trustpilot is the best!
UPDATE (04.06.2025.) - After many unanswered calls, unanswered emails etc., I have succeded in contacting Cyberport via their Instagragram profile. I have gotten information about the package from their agent on Instagram and somehow succeded in getting the order home. I wonder if I would have gotten the order if I haven't been that persistent. The package had arrived bit dented, but overall everything is ok inside. Also worth mentioning is the fact that the ordered goods were not protected enough with bubble wrapping or paper in my opinion. I am also praying that they didn't send me b-ware. Total review is 2/5 stars. Shame that it has to be like this because I think that they have potential to have 5/5 stars, but obviously something isn't right in their company and it has to get fixed if they want better customer satisfaction. ORIGINAL REVIEW - Order number 2013354995. Payed fully 1279€, not a single sight of the order being shipped or delievered. Can't contact them via email or phone besides trying many times. This is clear as a day that they are scamming people all across the Europe. My mistake was not checking them before buying because they were looking 100% legit. Avoid this store at all costs.
They don't answer emails and nobody is avalible through their whatsapp. I tried multiple times but just keep getting the same auto reply that wants me to visit their broken contact formular. If you are in a hurry, look somewhere else.
Scammers and liars. I ordered a PC case (Fractal Design Torrent rgb, which is one of the most expensive PC cases you can get) from their Ebay store. When I ordered it the page said it clearly is in stock and will arrive within 3 days. After 3 days the order was supposed to arrive at my doorstep but ebay showed that it wasnt even shipped yet and Cyberport didnt give me any information regarding why nothing is happening. I decided to give them a call - they didnt even say that they are sorry they just said that they dont have it in stock (even though their official web store said that it currently is in stock) - when I asked when it is supposed to arrive they had no clue. This is the worst customer experience I ever had - no information, no apology, no counteroffer/discount to satisfy their lack of communication, absolutely aweful. Avoid this eshop at all costs possible.
Cyberport is an awesome place for grabbing the latest electronics! They have a fantastic selection, so you’re bound to find what you need. I’ve picked up a few gadgets from there, the last was fancy earphones…. and I've always been impressed by the variety available. It’s great to have a one-stop shop for all things tech! Plus, their website is easy to navigate, which makes shopping a breeze. I highly recommend Cyberport for anyone looking to upgrade their devices or find new tech toys 😀
