I bought a training machine online and requested home delivery because it was large and heavy. Instead, it was left downstairs, and I had to carry it upstairs myself, despite having back pain. A few days later, I decided to return it due to poor quality and performance. The company told me I had to take it to a drop-off point myself. I requested assistance and home pick-up, but no one responded. In the end, I had to carry the machine to the drop-off point on my own, which caused a lot of pain and discomfort. If you want to avoid frustration and trouble, do not buy anything from this shop.
I ordered a Xiaomi FED V2 40kg weight set (Second Life) in December, but received only 6 × 2.5kg plates instead of the full set. I reported this immediately with photos. What followed was over a month of delays, repeated explanations, and conflicting messages between Decathlon and its partner. Despite already providing photos and waiting for the carrier investigation, I was later asked to start the process! Meanwhile, the order was marked as “completed” in the app, even though it was clearly incomplete. No resolution, no replacement, no refund—just endless waiting. This was extremely frustrating and poorly handled, I expected much better customer service from Decathlon. This was the worst shopping experience I had. And I am still waiting for a solution. Nothing yet resolved!

I received good assistance today, December 12th, at Decathlon Grote Marktstraat 54 in The Hague. The staff member was very helpful and offered good advice, taking the time to make sure I found what I needed for the winter season. Thank you for the good service.
Good day, Not long ago, I bought a bike. We don't have a car, so I paid transportation as well. We didn't pay for assembly. Anyway, the bike arrived in one box. The only things that needed to be assembled were the fenders, saddle, lights, and the pedals. It turned out that one of the parts of the mechanism that attaches the pedals was cracked. We discovered this after the pedal came loose and fell off while riding. We reported a factory defect, documented with photos. We were told to bring the bike in for a complaint and return to the meeting. Unfortunately, the wait for an appointment was about 10 days, and we didn't have a car. Since we needed the bike for everyday use, I decided to have it repaired locally, in the city where we live. We sent an invoice to Decathlon. Both the complaint and the invoice were rejected because the men expected me to personally bring the bike for a warranty claim, even though I paid for shipping when I bought it. I don't recommend it! Very poor service and ungrateful people working in the warranty claim process. Don't buy a bike there, they will ask you to come with a bike, when you have an issue. I would like to reply on the reaction that was posted here on December 8 by Decathlon: No, nobody offered me another solution. The reply I gave received on my email box was: Melina (Decathlon Netherlands) 16 okt 2025 Hi Ewa, Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, we don't offer the service you are expecting from us.
