Cavity wall insulation was carried out at my property in 2024 and I was given no paperwork or guarentees for this work. Energy pig have been contacted repeatedly since then and have simply stopped replying. I would not recommend this company for any works at all.
I was approached by this company in May 2025 they offered the reroofing of my flat roof through the government paid scheme they done the survey and after many texts and emails I was told it the scaffolders would be out then it change not once but three or four times according to the weather but the weather here was fine next it was Christmas so in January 2026 I phoned them yet again and was told yes I was definitely getting it done as they had the funding for it to my surprise the same week I got a call from a company called Heat they said my details had been passed on to them what I want to know why as Energy pig said they had been given the funding from the government to do the roof where did the funding go ?
I had intially had a very good experience with them when a lady called Caroline was involved throughout my grant application process however after she left the department it all went quickly downhill. My flat was surveyed for suitability and the grand application was approved; however when the instulation fitters arrived they said there wasnt enough room for me to get the grant (not sure why this wasnt picked up by the surveyors). Energy pig then said they would contact Ofgem to see if I could get an exemption. Months passed and no communication. I eventually contacted my MP to see if they could do anything and soon after I got contacted my Ofgem who stated that there was no such communication of Energypig on my behalf. It turns out I could get an exemption and I forwarded the details to energy pig. I got an email from David Vincent Macneill (Head of Decarbonisation & ECO) who said "Hi guys I will pick this up" - it seems he meant to just reply internally but I was included in the email. I forwarded David the information so far however this email and all emails after were ignored. Fair enough if the company do not want to help with this exemption side of things (they were the ones to contact me to say they could help me in the first place) however just let me know rather than ignore? Terrible customer service.
Hi, i would like to bring your attention to one of your vans driving erratically on the M77 south bound, tailgating and aggresivly harrassing other drivers, me included. This happend on the 7th of November and the registration mumber is EP05 LAR. he is going to cause an accident and i hope this get's taken seriously. Thanks Graham

STAY CLEAR!! I was advised that we would have the 1st year service carried out for free as they installed the Air source Heat Pump. However, I received a call asking for £250 payment so they can carry out the the service. First of all I was shocked at the price but proceeded to explain that I have the first one free. They told me NO and that I had to pay for it. I was told that if I didn't pay for it then my 7 year warranty will be void! I explained that I will need to shop around as I didn't know what others charged (others are much cheaper). She phoned me back a few times over the next couple of weeks as they were eager for the business. She explained that if I take our their servicing then they will fix any issues free of charge, however I now don't trust their word given that they initially told me that the first service was free. I suspect they are talking about the manufacturer coming out under the under if anything went wrong. I emailed Nicola multiple times now asking why they were not honoring the first free service but I've had. Zero response. They are quick enough to call us when there is a sale in it for them but anything other than that, they ignore their emails! Stay clear!
The survey team came to my house in December. I still don’t have my panels installed. No one has contacted me I always have to contact them. They can be exceptionally rude on the phone. I was told it would be done early 2025. 5 months since the first visit and they still haven’t discussed options with me and no installation date. They were sent to me via Octopus Energy.
Was unfortunate enough to have this company install solar panels and heat pump. That was the plan-they didn't turn up. The survey team were fine, helpful and efficient, installation supposed to be around January 24. Phoned to chase this up, supposedly "all ready to go", still not happening. Phoned recently, "get my manager to ring you back", never happened. Complete and utter waste of time for everyone. No doubt someone will now post a reply saying "how sorry we are about your experience, we don't understand how this happened. Rest assured we do our utmost to make sure our customers receive top quality service etc etc" Except they didn't. So if you want a job doing, get someone who has a job they want to do. And think about why a company with so many supposedly positive reviews fails so badly.............
Damage to bathroom wall tiles during cavity wall insulation process in August 2024. Entirely accidental but having been chasing them ever since to have the damage repaired. Not a very good experience.
Had the loft insulation done. Part of this meant I had to have trickle vents installed. Do not let these people touch your windows. They have broken my windows and now I get drafts coming in from around the vent. They cut into the window profile, cut off part of the seal on the window opening and shoved a vent there (already had one window company come around and have another Monday). All the vents are closed and my house is freezing. They did this to me on Thursday and said they'd send the joiner who fitted them on Friday. He said he'd come Monday. I don't get any condensation now but I also live in a freezing house that won't keep the heat in. No one even had the decency to contact me on Friday morning when I filed the complaint. Considering how cold it is this weekend, and how you have destroyed my windows, an email or call would have been nice. Absolutely disgusting company. I should never have bothered getting the work done. The insulation was better before this cowboy job.
