Fetch Pet Insurance delivers strong customer service and claims processing but faces serious concerns about premium increases tied to claim usage and claim denials on pre-existing condition grounds, creating a stark divide between satisfied and betrayed customers.

I wouldn't even give this 1. I am absolutely appalled by this company’s predatory pricing and complete lack of empathy. My dog's premium just increased by almost $3,000, which is a staggering, unjustifiable jump. This is the second time they have done this to me. I already had to cancel the policy for my first pet because of their massive rate increases, and now I am being forced to cancel my second dog’s policy for the exact same reason. This pet insurance is absolute trash, and all they care about is money. When I called customer service to figure out how a $3,000 jump was even possible, the representative essentially admitted to a punishment system. I was told the increase was because my dog had been to the vet frequently, and they needed to raise the rates on their end to cover "future increases." Isn't the entire point of paying for pet insurance to have a safety net when your pet actually needs medical care? They are happy to take your monthly premiums when your pet is healthy, but the moment you actually utilize the policy you’ve been paying for, they will price you out of your plan to protect their own bottom line. I would never recommend this company to anyone. In fact, I would recommend literally any other provider besides them. Save your money, protect your pets, and avoid this company at all costs. Hopefully, warning others about how they treat repeat customers will make people think twice before signing up with them!
Easy and was kept up to date with the claim.
My conversation led to me being more understanding Ringo policy … Kaitlyn is as very understanding and it was pleasure talking with her … thank you Fetch
Unrealistic for Fetch to expect me to use the Fetch pharmacy to get 100% reimbursement when this was an ER visit and my dog was in so much pain he couldn’t even lie down.
Claims are easy to submit and processed swiftly. Customer Service is very helpful if needed.
Great service
Aileen made things easy to understand and walked me through the process. Appreciate her recommendations, patience in answering my questions, and kindness throughout the call.
Eileen made the process of transferring my babies to my name in time for one of them to have a surgery smooth and easy!
Amanda, as soon as she took my call, she have been very sweet and energetic. The call was smooth and she is very knowledgeable about the plan details for my 2 dogs. I enjoyed speaking to her and ended up going with fetch.
Very easy to discuss and file claims form my Dog.
Due to technical problems with entering my claim online (after numerous attempts), I contacted customer service via phone and obtained the email for sending my claim using that method. Two days later I was contacted with a claim number. From that point it was smooth sailing. My claim was processed and resolved to my satisfaction within a reasonable period of time.
I really appreciate Nadine; she was very patient, professional, and thorough. She explained the options very well, and I secured insurance with the company.
agent was knowledgeable
I had two pets insured with Fetch for over 5 years. They are very good at taking payment every quarter, but that's where it ends when it comes to their capabilities. One of my pets, the cat, unfortunately passed away in the summer of 2025 from old age. He was insured with Fetch for about 4 years at that point, never filed a claim. Upon his passing, I informed Fetch and the following month, the cat was removed from my Dashboard, hence I assumed they successfully cancelled the insurance. In the spring of 2026, I reviewed my credit card statements and low and behold, I see that Fetch kept charging me the premium for the cat for two more quarters. When I called, they claimed they never knew about the passing of the cat. Why then was the cat removed from my Dashboard the month following his passing, I wonder? The dog has been insured with Fetch since he was a puppy. Every year, he went to his annual vet check-ups. Fetch knows every vet he's ever been to. We never had to file a claim for him as he's been healthy this entire time. At age 5, he developed an issue, appears to be harmless luckily and we caught it early enough for him to fully recover but it did create the first claim we had to file. It wasn't much, a few hundred dollars but hey, that's what we have this insurance for after all. Guess what, they denied the claim due to "incomplete health records". They want me to go to every vet and ask for the detailed health records. Again, the dog was insured literally from since he was 8 weeks old, never had to file a claim, and Fetch is aware of every single vet he has ever been to. What do I pay Fetch for if they make me do all the work? I am now in the process of filing a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance and considering legal action - not for the money but out of principle. They collect premiums but don't want to hold up their end of the deal and someone needs to put a stop to that. If you are in a similar situation and can't find a solution with Fetch, look up your state's Department of Insurance and make sure to file a claim - that's the only way to stop such behavior.
Once prescription was properly submitted according to the guidelines, everyone was smooth sailing.
