Hike Footwear has a severely divided customer base with a 2.6/5 rating: passionate repeat customers praise comfort and foot pain relief, while a much larger group reports unresponsive customer service, nearly impossible returns, and misleading return policies.

I bought a pair of Strides and love them. I bought another style that is uncomfortable and have been trying to return them, following return policy guidelines, for over 2 weeks. I've decided to stop wasting my time and donate them to Salvation Army.
I bought these shoes to improve my comfort from plantar fasciitis. The packaging is great, and they look just as they did on the website. However, the return FAQ's said that they could not be returned if worn. It's ridiculous to think you can assess the quality and comfort of this kind of shoe without at least wearing them for a long walk. I posed this to the information email, and no one responded to this comment. In fear of not being able to return them if I tried them, I decided to return them right away. The return instructions are to email the info email to get permission to return them. It took almost a month for a human to respond to the email. I sent at least 10 emails and had to threaten them with a lawsuit. Their response was to offer that I exchange them for another pair. How could this help the situation? I declined, and three weeks later they responded with an offer to keep the pair and get another at 50% off. I again declined. Three weeks later, they continued to bargain with various offers. After 2 months, I finally got the return address (paying for shipping as instructed on the website). They threatened to withhold the return fee, which I had to remind them was not on the website, and said I wanted a full refund. I finally got that after 3 months. Unless you're willing to take a chance on them, do not buy them.
I was never given an address to return a too-small sized shoe. It’s been 2 months and no response. Cynthia Watdon
Still have not received my order
Don't do it. You have been warned. Try sending them back and see what happens. Multiple emails requesting return instructions were ignored. Finally got a response and all they wanted to do was give me a discount. They refused to give me the return address and said that their phone team would call me which they did. I couldn't take the call and tried to call back and their system does not accept incoming calls. Back to email. They are terrible. Calling my credit card company.
Long delay. Near impossible to exchange a pair of shoes. Their sizing recommendations are wrong.
The shoes were too big for my feet, being 8-8-1/2. They looked krumpled around the toes. I only wanted to order 2 and accidentally ordered 3 but your website would not allow me to delete the third pair. So I had to pay for 3 pair. When they arrived I immediately requested a way to return the shoes to you for a full refund because of the condition of the shoes, but have gotten nothing but a run-around. NOW, you tell me I am too late to return them. I really need the refund. I will personally pay the cost of returning them to you if you give me a mailing address.
After get the wrong shoes and size, I attempted to reach out to customer service number doesn't exist the return portal non existent.. wrote a bad review they responded immensely say reach back via email. Still no response... Absolutely DO NOT BUY FROM RHIS SKETCHY BUSINESS.. I AM OUT $130 AND 2 SETS OF KIDS SHOES😡 Absolutely worse experience ordered in March still not a single response that wasn't automated
The shoes I ordered last are to tight hurt my feet so can wear. I have written got no response on how to return for acredit.I tried one pair assume those can not be returned. I heard we're busy will get back to you. But no one has yet.
You have ZERO customer service. You have only AI which is often doesn't read whole sentences. We have no access to Human help. I LOVED my Flow shoes so much I ordered three more pair. They Finally came. I am Shocked that they are hard and made of plastic. They are also shown as hands free... but they have regular shoe laces. No instructions to make them hands free. These new shoes don't belong near the Flow shoe. Nowhere do you say these are hard soled shoes, nor made of plastic. You brag about them being flexible. They are not.
Have ordered 7 pairs of shoes This time got size and color wrong
I was told I would recieve shoes in the correct size but have not heard a thing after telling me to send another $10. I would love to try your shoes but I'm not getting anywhere. PS. the internet is telling me this in not unusual with HF
You are dishonest. There is no guaranteed 30-day return policy, and you dislike your own goods so much don't even want it back.
I have been trying since the day after receiving the shoes to get a refund for two ( same size) of the three pairs I bought as well as the insoles. One pair was a gift of different size which fit the recipient. Their website page isn’t working and cannot locate a phone number. Finally found an email sent request and they just replied with offer to buy more shoes at discount. They listed a money back guarantee but I have been unsuccessful.
Never got my shoes. Sent the wrong size hike said they would send me another pair and all I had to do was pay shipping they where going to send me a text to pay for the shipping just needed to give use the size the color and the name did that 3 times got no where.
