Easy to use digital ticket that worked well on our journey through Germany and Denmark.
Nice and helpful railway staff everywhere we went
We did a 8 ays round trip in central europa starting from France and it was really a treat. We travelled to Nuremberg, Prague and Salzbourg and it was very nice and without stress to travel from station to station. The booking process was sometimes a little tricky especially the seat reservations. The process could be a little streamlined if possible. All and all, I really recommend traveling with interrail.
i love interail, thank you for making it possible
Everything worked fine
Fantastic!
Every single Trip is a Adventure!
App not transparent. No idea, why some trips are able to book others are not. I got 3 of 4 days of inbound/outbound, but I could not choose the one day for travel in an non-resident country. So I had to give up two of four days. Why is this so complicated? It is just not comprehensible. Nicholas
I requires some experience but then the planning app works. The seats reservation gives some problems.
After a few years of experiments I now how to deal with Interrail. I have no problems with the planning anymore.
This year we travelled short distances visiting the Netherlands, Belgium and Northefn France. Even so the convenience and flexibility of the pass makes it worthwhile. First class is very reasonably priced. If you include the free food and drink on Eurostar and some uk routes like London to Scotland it is a bargain. Using the pass means you don't have to book very early and commit to a particular train to get a reasonably priced ticket. The app makes planning and booking journeys very easy. You can plan several alternatives and then click on your final choice to book reservations when these are needed. As the costs are fixed, under 12s get a free pass (reservations have to paid for) and luggage is free the pass could be a useful alternative to flying at expensive times in the year. If things go wrong in the booking process, as they can with a complicated itinerary, the help desk respond to emails very quickly.
A great opportunity, but it's very difficult to book a place!
User interface for ordering passes is way too complicated and made it unnecessary hard. Finding the right connection is hard too. Had to use other apps to find my connection. Configuring the trip within the app is way more complicated, than it was, when there were still paper passes. Have booked much more complicated flights in a fraction of the time.
With a change of phone between two legs of a two month ticket. The info I glanced at was not clear. I managed to do this whilst on the move with the 2nd leg within an hour. It would have been less stressful if the info regarding change was easier.
Loved the flexibility, although I rarely needed to diverge from my plan.
