I have always really enjoyed using Interrail in the past, but my current experience has completely destroyed my trust in the company. I am one of the (many) users affected by the recent data leak. For weeks now, I have been waiting for a clear statement regarding exactly which of my personal data has been compromised. Despite reaching out multiple times, the customer service is completely ignoring my messages. What makes this situation so terrifying is that my ID data is involved. I am genuinely scared and deeply worried about the potential consequences of my sensitive information being exposed, and the absolute silence from the support team is only making it worse. It is a massive shame that a company I used to love and trust does not take its customers, their security, or their severe worries seriously. I expect much better communication and accountability when it comes to handling sensitive personal data.
Interrail saves me a lot of money and makes me flexible.
Travelling through Europe for my work by train is relaxing, interesting and affordable. I just love it. I can use the time on the train to reflect on and prepare for meetings. The train takes me to every little town I need to go to. I love the new sleeping pods on the night train!
Very Happy with Interrail. Use it frequently as a senior, started when I was 16 years old in 1977. Fast, flexible train transportation, also good for the climate.

This was the second time we used Interrail and we found the experience not only more convenient but also very pleasant. The app is easy to use, from the planning stage to the moment the journey starts. It can get a bit slow and sometimes down when you have to book seats or pay extra for fast train, so it should be better to do that well in advance. On the whole we recommend the whole experience and would continue to travel by train using Interrail.
Inter Rail is the best way to travel Europe by train if you plan on taking a number of trains to get around, you can select various different travel lengths, either so many days in a given time period, so if you are only planning to travel on certain days, then stay a few days in that location this ideal, or you can buy a fixed number of consecative days, ideal for those wishing to travel every day for a certain number of days. I bought a month travel pass this time, as I had planned a stay for 27 days, travelling most days with just a three days off for sight seeing tours, this was my third Inter Rail pass using the Inter Rail app, the first time I was not sure about using it, I perfer the old fashioned paper ticket rather electronic form, but having used it the first time, I always go for the app now, it is so easy to use, you also get the lastest travel updates, as timetables can change due to engineering works ect.
Other than the seat booking process being challenging, our information is at risk due to security breach.
