I've ordered from here multiple times last year and not had any major issues (occasionally a longer than anticipated delivery but nothing major). I love the huge selection and the prices are very reasonable, hence why I have usually ordered my sweets from here. However, this will likely change as when I received my most recent order (received on 14th march, ordered about 10 days before this). I received the complete wrong order. I emailed the company literally as soon as I had opened the box and realised it was wrong... then emailed again 5 days later, then used their website contact form, then emailed again, and then the website form AND then contacted them multiple times on Instagram. Not one reply. I ordered sweets from here in the hope of making easter themed sweet bags for the children in my family. I received black and white sweets, random flavours of fudge and other sweets which are the total opposite of Easter and spring. I've had to re-buy elsewhere so i've spent double. I feel like leaving a bad review is the only way I would get any sort of response/customer service which is such a shame.
Terrible customer service. I have ordered £25 worth of sweets which it says will take 3-5 working days to arrive. After waiting the 5 working days nothing arrived. I contacted support who ignored me I waited the 48 hours for a response and then another 48 and with 3 more email to them I got a response with tracking which they haven’t even sent out yet. I also contacted the company through social media where the man was rude and acting like it was not his issue at all and why am I bothering him. Definitely would never order from here again. Wish I looked at the reviews before as it does seem like a very poorly run company. If you are thinking about ordering from here go to anywhere else they have the same prices and actually care about customers. Have spoke to the owner and have received a full refund he did do all he could to get this refund as they responded after it had been sent but recalled the order for me. Seems like a nice guy probably just over worked and needs to get a new customer service team as they seem like they are the issue not him. There was some back and forth but over all he helped me get the outcome I wanted and I appreciate it.
Joy of Sweets I’m really disappointed with my most recent order. The delivery was fast although a few things have changed. I ordered from Joy of Sweets last year and everything was fantastic, which is why I came back and had previously recommended them to others. Unfortunately, this time the quality just isn’t there. The sweets are extremely hard and noticeably lacking flavour, which makes me wonder if suppliers have changed. I specifically placed the order for the strawberry bricks, only to find they were missing from my delivery I wasn’t informed they were out of stock, nor was I refunded for them. It’s a real shame because this used to be a place I trusted and happily recommended, but based on this experience I don’t feel the quality or service matches what it once was.
