First hot water dispenser I received, blacked out my unit. You said you’d send me another. After a few days I rang to see what was happening and it hadn’t been sent. Finally received it and working ok so far.
Delivery was prompt. Used the water heater. I really like being able to make a cup of tea in a short space of time and not having to lift the heavy electric kettle! The first few days it was okay. Then the amount of water heated started to vary. Now it has started dripping after it has shut off. Fairly trivial I guess, but annoying. When unpacking it, I thought the metal tray (to stand cup on) looked cheap and nasty, as the saying goes! It now is deteriorating. It appears there is a very thin layer of plastic on it and inevitably getting wet it is starting to lift around the edges of holes etc.,
I don’t like the idea of not getting a mug full of water also it’s cold by the time it gets into the cup and it dribbles out needs to come out a little quicker. Very disappointing!
I am disappointed with the very few soup recipes provided with the product. I realise I still have to learn more about it but it seems it is not possible to have a 'chunky' soup for want of a better description - so far all I have made have been very runny - good for aged care homes! The machine is very sensitive to levels.
