I had a question about a product I bought for both our pups - a seatbelt harness that I was planning to use for an upcoming car trip. When I couldn’t quite figure out how to fasten the harness I called Pelsbarn and emailed customer service. I got a message quickly and two options for fastening Sunny and Toby safely! I appreciated the rapid response and help!!
Purchased cooling pad for my Chihuahuas as their ads were very positive in showing pups attracted to their benefits during hot, humid days. My Chihuahuas couldn’t care less!!!! Still prefer regular bedding and yes we have central AC.
Just recently, I ordered an orthopedic bed for my Charlie. The customer service was 100%. I wasn't sure Charlie was going to go for this bed...but, he surprised me! He absolutely loves it! Charlie comes to work with me every day...and, quite frankly, everyone in the office wanted Charlie to move over so they could lie beside him!!
I purchased a Luxurious car bed for my dog in size M/L. I was sent the XS instead. I tried reaching out to them to see how I can get my correct order. There's nothing on their website to initiate any sort of wrong shipment. Nothing on their FAQs list anything related to this matter. I tried emailing them and there's no response. I tried calling them and there's no answer. It's been 5 days since I received my items, and on their website they stated that you only have 14 days to return/exchange. This whole ordeal along with the low quality of their products made me feel like this is one of those sketchy, untrustworthy companies. I DO NOT recommend you shop with these people. Go elsewhere and save yourself the headache. Again, DO NOT purchase from them. EDIT: The company reached out to me a day after I posted this review, and fixed the issue. I received the correct bed last week (5/06/2026). I've been using this bed in my car for my 50lbs Lab for a bout a week now. The item itself I think is a bit overpriced. The cushion are not that thick/sturdy, and my Lab can flatten it easily. However, it's the only bed I found that is designed for the car. I like that it has a little backing that you can attach it to the seat. I also like that there are holes for the seat belt buckles, and I can buckle my dog down while driving around. The bed wall is pretty sturdy and it gives my dog a place to rest his head which is nice. I decided to revise my review and say that if you need a dog bed for your car. This is a pretty decent bed to get. Yes it's a bit overpriced but it's good for your dog, especially if you have an anxious dog who needs to be hug and comfort.
The team at Pelsbarn is fantastic! I had a glitch with an ordering process. I emailed the team and they had everything straightened out very quickly which prevented me from receiving some duplicate orders. The emails from the team were personal, kind and very helpful. What a difference in the day of auto generated messages. I was connected to a real person who cared about my issue. I will definitely order from Pelsbarn again.

I have bought from Pelsbarn before. It’s great quality and quick shipping. You can be rest assured your dealing with a family type business. The best part at least for me, is how much they give back to shelter dogs. There is always someone to contact if need be. Give it a chance to realize you’re giving your pet great quality and helping the helpless animals. I got the luxury car bed this time.my dog fell asleep in it before I even got it in the car.

We bought 2 of the car dog beds - one for each car. It is easy to put in and take out. Our dog loves it and gets cozy and comfortable on car rides where she previously sat uncomfortably on the seat. I think it makes car rides much less stressful for her and I’m really happy with my purchase.
I just love Pelsbarn products! I started with the luxurious full Back seat protector which came with a free calming relief blanks. My dog October just fell in love with the calming relief blanket. My next order was a special where I bought a luxurious sofa bed and I got a second one for free and also ordered the luxurious calming blanket that is so soft! And it came with another calming relief blanket which is now owned by Sasha our cat! The material is so amazing I want a human size. I love that Pelsbarn helps shelter dogs in need. This was one of the reasons I decided to purchase from this company. I will surely be a life long customer! If you’re up in the air, go for it! You won’t be disappointed.
