Photowall delivers high-quality wallpaper with excellent customer service, but quality control issues with image resolution and peel-and-stick adhesion affect a meaningful minority of customers.

We were excited about our mural wallpaper "The Long Walk" and loved the design but were disappointed when it arrived and it was blurry and pixellated. We had to cancel our wallpaper service provider. Blowing up an image at 100 or 150 dpi for a large space like a sign, billboard or wallpaper is OK if the image is of good enough quality. However, the image was not and had been "res'd up" – blown up much larger than it should have been, resulting in the pixellation. I'm a graphic designer, so maybe my standards are higher but this is just bad practice, especially for $1000 wallpaper. I thought it was odd that the sample was not full size, so I didn't catch this in the sample phase. If you order from them, insist on a large sample. I would've given 1 star, but they did return my money and were kind on the phone, so I was at least happy with their customer service and that their satisfaction guarantee was honored. However, I will not order from them again.
