I saw attractive dungarees on Facebook and went to the website. I ordered a pair of dungarees and a dress which was described as flattering and claimed to hide the tummy. I ordered a medium(I’m usually 12/14). The dress was anything but flattering. The crossovers which should have been under my boobs crossed on my chest! The dungarees were comfortable enough to wear but are made of very thin, light synthetic material. They are very generous cut. The stitching has come undone after one wear. I emailed the customer service and have been told that I can return them but at my own expense- to China! They are not a family firm following in grandma Margaret’s footsteps as they claim. Avoid them like the plague. I think by are also trading under other names on Facebook such as Elizabeth & Olivia.
I'd give 0 stars if I could. Everything about this company is a fraud - it's website, it's facebook page and all the clothes it's advertising. It is NOT based in UK. The dungarees I ordered cam from China and returning good there is not straightforward - see below. The material quality is appalling - cheap, thin, slippy - impossible to roll u the legs as shown in the advertisement. And the material looks as though it has been digitally printed - fuzzy images that look as though they have been enlarged too far. Seriously if you doubt what a scam it is ordering from China from a company like this, read on. Knowing I would be responsible for shipping costs I emailed them asking for a refund. They recommended using a track and trace service, which would be in the region of £30 or even more!. They also said returns 'may be subject to customs checks or additional charges' for which I would also be responsible. A quick Google search indicated packages valued over 500 yuan, which mine is can incur customs duty of up to 25%, plus VAT of 13%. Exemptions can be applied for, but that's a whole lot more hassle with no guarantee of success. So it could cost around £48, plus a whole lot of hassle, to return items costing £60: Shipping - say a conservative = £25 Customs duty 25% of 60 = £15 Chinese VAT @13% = £7.8 Total = £47.8 Sarah Emily Wear offered me an alternative - I could keep the items and they would give me a goodwill refund of 15%. In other words I'd get less than £10 on over £60 of goods. Obviously I'm going to accept this 'offer' but I don't expect I'll ever see that £10. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of these fraudsters.
NEVER, NEVER use this site. A complete scam. Like others here I was taken in by the UK based info which is totally misleading. The goods were dreadful fabric and poorly made. Took forever to arrive and when I returned them to the address on the packaging (a Feltham address with proof of delivery) they are now surprise, surprise, no longer traceable and so now out of 30 day returns window - tough, no goods, no refund. Despicable treatment. So again Do Not Buy Anything From Sarah Emily.
The first time I have bought from an online company without checking Trustpilot. This company is based in China and despite the impression that it is a family company based in the UK you have to return the product to China at your own cost. The dungarees are made from horrible cheap fabric I would never wear. These people should be ashamed of themselves.
As others have reported this website is a big fat scam! I stupidly didn't check out trustpilot like I usually do as the website seemed a genuine family concern. Dungarees obviously from China, 95% polyester not soft cotton blend as described. Same issues as others when trying to return, send back to China! Misleading information on the website regarding returns. I have raised a dispute with credit card provider, fingers crossed I get at least some money back.
COMPLETE SCAM Avoid this company. Portrayed as a British company but for international partners read China. Refunds with no questions asked- easy to say when you have to pay exorbitant postage to China plus possible customs charges. Offered 15% but then they upped it to 20%. Had to accept as I have hit a brick wall with this company
As others before me have stated - total scam! Fabric is cheap and nasty. Nothing like the advertisement. Would never have purchased had I known it was coming from China. Everything about the website points to a UK company. Offered 15% refund or send back to China. AVOID!!
I have been scammed, awful polyester type fabric, Chinese company posing as British family, pictures are deceiving. Embarrassed that I didn't check reviews first. Contacted to return, told to ship to china with proof of purchase, told up to a month before I would receive refund, postage is my responsibility, no guarantee of refund in case of damage in transit. I paid £35 for one pair and have now seen the same on Shein for less than £7. Very unhappy.
Shocking!!! The quality of the dungarees purchased were nothing like the portrayal on the website. I am stopping my payment as luckily I purchased on a credit card. Yes, agree with other review notes that the company seems to market itself as a UK family business, but I suspect that is far from the facts.... I too see a Netherlands company as the cash receivers. Do not buy from this company.

Absolute scam and deceitful. The website is listing it as a UK company and returns are easy!!! Please please do not waste your money - I wish I had researched their website more fully before buying absolute crap! These companies need to be shut down - sadly as they are overseas it’s not possible. They are getting AI to make these websites look so legit - I will never let myself be taken in by these lying BA£;ar&s again.

Dungarees took ages to arrive, they were too large and made of a horrible material. To return I was told to send them back to China. It's a scam!!

Items nasty quality and shipped from China, they only accept returns if you cover the cost of shipping to China yourself and has to be tracked. It’s a scam company and falsely advertises the product
One star is a star too many! Can't believe I ordered from this site in a moment of distraction - I'm usually so careful checking out whether companies are legit - this one isn't. As other reviews state what you order isn't what you get. Shoddy tat. Avoid.
