Switched to Squirrel from EE due to cost savings - what a mistake. The internet in my house has been dropping ever since, I am unable to work from home properly anymore and the kids are going mad all the time as gaming drops or thy can't do their homework. Customer support aren't bothered and just keep telling me to pay extra monthly for wifi extenders or wire everything directly to my router (I'm sorry, is it 1998???!!!). Why should I have to pay for these? I didn't have to with EE - there is clearly an issue with Squirrel but they wont admit it. Also said to me I'd have to pay an early termination fee to end my contract - I certainly will be taking this to citizens advise and ombudsman as I am paying for a very poor service - why should I be forced to put up with this for the next 2 years. TIP: If you're currently paying a bit extra and thinking of switching to Squirrel to save a couple of quid a month I honestly would not bother!

I was a Squirrel customer at my previous address with no issues, but after relocating, my experience has been nothing short of appalling. Despite being told services were available at my new address—and being hit with a nearly £500 exit fee—the engineer later confirmed installation isn’t actually possible. It would require cutting down multiple trees and accessing neighbouring properties, which is clearly unrealistic. Even the engineer advised me to switch providers. I am now being charged for a service I am not receiving, with zero updates, no accountability, and no clear resolution. Customer service has been extremely poor, I’ve had to chase everything myself while being blocked from leaving without penalty. This has been a deeply frustrating and unacceptable experience. The service may work when everything goes smoothly, but when issues arise, support is non-existent. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company. If this is not resolved urgently, I will be seeking legal advice. It is completely unreasonable to enforce early termination fees on the basis that services are “available” when, in reality, they are not—and to continue billing for a service that cannot be provided.

Worst Wi-Fi we have ever had, shows fast speed but you physically cannot download anything.
