When you buying big items or breakable items don’t trust the refund .. after much reviewing and stress of seller’s evaluation they only refund you your item price .. international shipping cost a bomb so it’s not worth it . I bought some glass containers for new home and some broken when received . I requested for refund but have difficulties corresponding with the seller as they only understand Chinese Although there is translation but after a lot of correspondences and stress I only manage to get back the item price which is only a small fraction of the total bill I paid .. the main bulk of the purchase came from the international shipping and taxes .. In the end it’s cheaper to buy from my home country .
I received a faulty dvd player . The picture only fills half the screen . The chances of the seller agreing with Taobaos verdict are minimal . I have had to prove with photoes over and over again . So far it's been daily for 2 weeks . Still no success . DON'T BUY FROM THEM .
A scam. The prices look unbelievably cheap, but that’s how they catch you. First you pay enormous amounts for shipping and taxes. Then when it arrives in your country you are asked to pay taxes AGAIN! You get threatened by Speedaf that they will send your parcels back to Taobao and that you will “never see your refund” (!) unless you pay more! To make things very complicated you must pay the taxes for every individual item separately! The end result is that the price increases by more than 800% ! Stay away!
Overall service is OK, but I hate the way they provide incorrect waybill numbers on the order page. People shouldn't have to ask customer service for a number that can actually track the parcel when it leaves China - firstly I got given the tracking updates, then had to ask again for the actual number. I don't really understand why there seems to be a sort of reluctance to provide such basic information. If they want less complaints/inquiries then it would be a good idea to just hand over the relevant info.

The refund and return process is so disgusting, complicated so that consumers rather give up then fight to get their money back, that’s how they function. For the same product, each size is regarded 1 order and to return every size, we have to pay shipping for each of all these different orders individually, and pack separately and have x number of people come pick up individually. This is how they create jobs in China eh? I wouldn’t even give a star. Customer service is a human reciting same script on repeat, no help at all.

I wish I could give this zero stars. First their items are complete garbage. You get what you pay for. But I ordered a bbq table and it was sent in different pieces. I ended up receiving the stand but the bbq section didn’t come. They still charged me for the stand. What good is a bbq stand without a bbq? They refused to refund me.
Don't listen to others. This is all the information that you need. Taobao from my experience is a extremely cheap shopping website where you can pretty much find and purchase anything, even at a acceptable quality. However, some stores in taobao have bad quality, thats the reason why the products reviews are a thing. If the reviews are good, most likely the product is of acceptable or good quality. Vice versa. Never had issues with refunds or anything. All my products I have purchased arrived within the estimated delievery date and in good quality. Most stores also have excellent service because you have the option to evaluate the service attitude. In conclusion, dont listen to these negative reviews, most of them have never even used taobao.
Do not buy Tabao is a scam you cannot get your money bacif you want to return the item .. the product is really cheap not good quality . If you want to return your product there’s no way they will not reply you. This is a big scam !
Refused to refund me even though they sent me the wrong item I merely asked for a refund of the difference between the prices of the item sent and what I ordered, not even the full refund, yet they refused.

Thus company is a complete scam!! I bought 2 dresses from them 2 sizes bigger than I am, and they were way too small, and when I asked for a refund, not only did they say hell no, but they were so rude about it. Don't shop here. You will not get what you're looking for. Worst experience ever!!
Its website is total garbage coz it keeps on claiming "abnormal activity" and prevents you from using. Many merchants show as a blank page for whatever reason. Very poor quality in design & implementation.
