When I received a notice from the state regarding my 2025 tax return, things seemed ominous. Had I not purchased TaxAudit and had to navigate the response process alone, I would have felt limited in options and overwhelmed by the prospect of responding. Working with Greg was awesome. He told me what to send him (thankfully, I keep good records!) and he'd prepare a response. When my numbers didn't quite match up with my return, he identified the discrepancies and it ended up not being a big deal. [Had I been left to my own devices, I probably would have panicked and assumed that I'd need to file an amended return.] We've submitted my response to the state, and Greg let me know the potential scenarios in terms of their response. While I don't yet know what the outcome of my case will be - whether I'll have to submit an amended return, face an audit, etc. - I feel relaxed and unstressed (mostly!) because of his guidance and help with my case. I've purchased audit protection option every year I've filed my taxes with TurboTax, just in case. This is my first time needing it, and if you are on the fence, it is a fantastic investment. Greg's responsiveness has been fantastic, and there is literally not a single improvement that I can suggest. I will definitely continue to purchase this add-on!
The tax audit system sucked. It was difficult to get ahold of someone to help me. Once i did actually get assistance and Jayasree Seshadri, EA stepped in that all changed. She was able to explain things in a way that made sense to me. And she was able to fix my issue with the scumbags at the IRS.
Darlene was quick to answer my questions and kept me up to date as to the progress of my claim. She was pleasant to speak with online and on the phone. Thanks for all the support
