I'm not usually one to write negative reviews, however in this case I feel it is necessary. I booked an activity (Sangria Bikes) with The Spain Event for a hen-do I was trying to organise in Madrid (pre-pandemic). The gentleman I was dealing with at the time was very accommodating and understanding when the wedding and thus the hen-do activity I had booked had to be postponed. I rebooked the activity for late October of this year. I had been in contact the said gentleman via Whatsapp the week before the activity to confirm final details and he said he would enquire and get back to me. I heard nothing further until the Wednesday when I sent another message as the event was scheduled for the Saturday, and I was informed that one of his colleagues had been trying to contact me via an email that was no longer in use. The majority of correspondence had been done via Whatsapp, and only the confirmation sent to said email. Ultimately, I was informed the day before the hen-do that this activity was no longer available due to licensing reasons. While other activities were offered, there was no apology given for this. We eventually decided to cancel and did receive a full refund. Given how accommodating and helpful the company had been to rebook due to the pandemic, I am so disappointed that this was how the situation ended. I would not recommend.
