I am very happy with the service I received from Steve on two occasions because I asked him if he could recommend a beach rod and reel and a boat rod and reel as well I felt that he treated me with professionalism and with such patience. Also Danny also helped me out more recently on my question on loyalty points which he answered to my satisfaction. Overall I am very happy with service I have received.

I usually place orders on Tuesday evenings and have always taken delivery by Friday at the latest (I don’t live on the mainland). Competitively priced, generally have the items I need in stock and excellent communications keeping me advised of despatch dates and delivery dates. Highly recommend.
I placed an order over Christmas for a filleting knife. After placing the order. I received timely emails informing me of the order progress.. brilliant service!!….until Royal Mail got involved and delivered it to the wrong address🤬. I placed a phone call to veals and spoke to Harry. I explained what had happened and within a few minutes a new order was raised and a few days later, I received my replacement… A1 customer service… Thankyou.

Ordered an IMAX winter waterproof suit yesterday and it was delivered today without asking for next day delivery and I was also kept informed by the courier FedEx too. The quality looks excellent but not tried it yet. The cost was also very competitive. An excellent service. Thank you.
Start of my season on Sunday 1st October and phoned a lot of angling centres local shops etc to get a seat box and back rest sorted, wasn’t having any luck for at least a fortnight to three weeks, luckily I spoke to Danny this morning and not only has he sent me both items for a great deal he’s also going to fit the rest to box and post it first thing Monday morning 👍🎣
Have used Veals a few times to order things from terminal tackle to tripods. Had an issue with an item and when I added a note to an order they came good with a replacement. Superb service, was good to know they read the note and acted promptly Thank you.
Ordered a new rod at the weekend which was delivered promptly. Didn’t check it properly and took labels off. A bit later noticed 3rd eye was distorted and lining missing. Rang Veals and spoke to Vicky, within a short time called back, replacement rod on its way, no arguments! Rod arrived next day, damaged one collected. 5* customer service, it is not how good a company is when all is well, it is how good they are when things aren’t quite right that sets them apart. Placed substantial orders over the past couple of years, staff are always helpful and very knowledgeable, if they haven’t got it listed they can always get it, prices are always the best, if not they match. Great company highly recommended.

Top service and follow up. Plced order yesterday and it arrived today. Listing said the reel came with a spare spool but it arrived without. I emailed telling them and Andy (the owner) came back saying he had checked and the spare was missing from all of his stock and, as he had used the makers listing details, he had chased them to be told that they knew of the problem and had none to send! Showing 1st class customer service, I was immediately offered a full refund or a reasonable credit note as compensation. Naturally I took the 2nd option as I do not see why a good business should be punished by such poor service from their supplier. Will be sure to return to them and to make sure I spend way more than my credit.
