DO NOT USE KIWI

DO NOT USE KIWI. They completely messed up my name on the boarding pass with the airline which led to MASSIVE stress coming into and out of the country I was travelling to. (And I definitely inputted it correctly because it’s correct on all my other booking documents and receipts.) They also have HORRIBLE customer service on their app (which also leaves much to be desired) and they DO NOT care if you make your flight or not. I suggest spending your money ELSEWHERE. Simply do not understand how they have a rating higher than 3 stars because this is abysmal service and performance. Not worth saving the extra 50 dollars for such poor customer support.

Contacting your customer service team is a task in itself. It is not an easy process, and the virtual AI assistant often asks for the same information repeatedly, which is very frustrating. You will be very lucky, if you manage to contact the customer service and get your query resolved. Additionally, your human agents do not read the full email thread before responding, so they are often unaware of the complete situation or previous discussion. As a result, their responses are frequently vague, incomplete, and irrelevant. Moreover, it is not possible to respond directly to the human agent, as the conversation goes back to the AI virtual assistant, which again asks for the same information. Then, a completely different human agent responds to the query. In short, the whole customer service experience is highly inefficient, poor, and a complete waste of everyone’s time. It is also significantly lowering the overall experience of Kiwi.com. *** Editing my response below and adding further details about my review and further information requested by Kiwi.com*** Thank you for your response. My feedback is not related to a booking itself. My issue is regarding the “Refer a Friend” reward program and the difficulty of contacting customer service when you do not yet have a confirmed booking. One of the biggest problems is that Kiwi.com does not provide an easy way to contact customer support unless you already have a confirmed booking number. This means that if customers face issues before booking a flight or during the booking process, there is effectively no proper support available. I do not think it is appropriate or safe to share my full email address publicly on this forum. However, to help you locate my account, I am providing the following details: Booking ID: 636593232 Email on file: Sagarpa*******@gmail.com Please feel free to contact me directly by email. My query is specifically about “Earning rewards with the Refer a Friend program.” On 12 May, my friend wanted to book a flight, so I recommended Kiwi.com and explained the referral program. I have successfully used this program before, so I understand the process and terms. However, when I tried generating my referral link through the app, it repeatedly showed an error. I then tried using my laptop, but the same error appeared again. I took screenshots of the issue and attempted to contact customer support, but I could not do so because I did not have a current confirmed booking linked to this issue. Despite all these problems and the lack of available support, I still recommended Kiwi.com to my friend in good faith. He signed up and successfully booked his first flight through Kiwi.com. After this, I contacted customer service using an older booking ID simply so I could speak with someone and report the issue properly. I also provided screenshots and supporting evidence. Unfortunately, for the past week, I have been receiving repeated responses from both AI assistants and multiple different human agents asking for the same information again and again, while not addressing my main concern: Why should I lose my referral reward because the referral system was not functioning correctly? I also informed your team that another friend is planning to book international flights for his whole family, but I am still seeing the same referral link error. Another major issue is the communication process itself. A human agent replies by email, but when I respond, the conversation goes back to the AI assistant, which again asks for the same information. Then another human agent joins and asks for the same details again. This cycle keeps repeating. The entire customer service process feels inefficient, time-consuming, and not fit for purpose. My issue is relatively simple, yet after one week it still remains unresolved because I keep being asked for the same information repeatedly instead of receiving actual assistance. Please contact me by email so this matter can finally be resolved and my confidence in Kiwi.com’s customer service can be restored.

Good experience and better deals

I had a very good experience with Kiwi buying tickets in South America. I could find better deals than on airlines websites. It wasn't very simple to get the boarding pass from the airline but kiwi sent me a detailed instruction how to do that, so everything went well. Can definitely recommend this website.

Convenient service

It works fine if you just relax

It works fine if you just relax. Ordering a ticket you will be overwhelmed with added price addon. If you travel light, this is a great option. I had many flights and they just try to earn a buck. Dont be naive and you will be happy.
