Update: if I could I would give zero stars. No progress at all to report. Regretfully lack of substantive progress on actions for the last 3-4 months. Our property manager is Mr Owen Judd. We have now written to the Managing Director. Our estate is located in Taunton, Somerset.
Nearly 5 months ago I reported to Metro that the exit doors from my block of flats could be deadlocked from outside preventing escape in the event of a fire. As there was no reaction, I again notified Metro some 2 months later and got a reply to the effect that deadlocking the doors was impossible. It isn't! At no point have Metro visited the site and now I am in communication with the 'Safety & Compliance Manager' who assures me that the safety of their residents is their priority.

Owen Judd.... where do I even start with how great this bloke is and how much of an asset he is to Metro PM. As a fellow property manager myself, having Owen manage my home development has been a breathe of fresh after, after we had to sack off the old managing agent, and I cannot thank him enough for how responsive, informative and helpful he has been since taking over. This company should be shut down! Have arranged for work costing £1,000s, but have accepted the advice of a builder instead of actually examining the issue themselves. Still not received annual accounts for last year, well dodgy! Work/repairs, reported over 2 yrs ago, still not addressed! We have formed a tenants committee and were just about to serve them notice and self manage (you can do this if 50+% of owners agree), but 3 out of the 6 apartments have decided to sell to get away from the ongoing issues! But this raises another issue...they are holding up the sales as the solicitors are still waiting for them to send the sales packs. We had no choice with this company being appointed. It's a shame the landowner did investigate before awarding the contract to them!!
I have to say Melanie Judd, Customer Service and Integration Manager, was so helpful she worked hard to resolve issues I had with a neighbour. Melanie was professional and focused until she got the issue sorted. I can't thank her enough.
1th July. I found my garage door was jammed so I couldn't get my car out - disaster. Melanie Judd at Metro arranged for a contractor to visit within an hour. He diagnosed the problem and told me that his workman would be there in a couple of hours. He arrived and 4 hours after I reported the problem all was resolved.
Anytime I have issues and I call in there is one amazing lady so professional to the highest standards her name is Melanie Judd, this lady will do all she possibly can to make sure she put a smile on my face by assisting me with my challenges I am a new tenant who just occupied a studio apartment in Flat 4 23 Clarke Road Northampton. My flat has had a bathroom leak for over a year. The extractor fan is on the ceiling directly about the toilet and rain water comes through. It took months of pestering to get anyone out, for them to incorrectly diagnose the issue and make it worse. Months pass again and they finally put up scaffolding, a solution was put in that lasted a month and now it's worse than ever. My landlord can't get a straight answer and is constantly passed from contact to contact.
